Das Restaurant Compa ist ein Geheimtipp, wenn man im Zentrum von Laibach Steaks essen möchte. Auf der Karte finden sich Pferdesteaks ebenso wie Rind oder Mangalitzaschwein. Das Personal ist äußerst bemüht sowie aufmerksam und das Lokal bietet ein stilvolles Ambiente. Da nur wenige Sitzplätze sind, sollte man unbedingt reservieren. Wir konnten ohne Reservierung glückerweise noch den letzten Tisch direkt am Eingang ergattern. Preislich etwas gehobener Klasse, aber für die gebotene Leistung ist dies vollkommen in Ordnung. Incredible. What a great experience. From the absolutely delicious food to the perfectly paired local wine and the cool relaxed tone set by the easy going waiter and all the others that worked there. One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend. Special shout out to the Serbian cook who worked his magic over the smoky wood fired grill rolling out some of the tastiest meat we’ve ever had. Never thought horse could taste that good.

THE best restaurant in Ljubljana - hands down. The best quality meat ever, to say it’s fresh and delicious is an understatement (my favorite was the raw horse meat cubes). We tried to taste as much from the menu we could and nothing disappointed. The side dishes were exquisite - the zucchini flowers, potato with the fresh cheese on top, seasonal vegetables…. And the service was impeccable! Can’t wait to come back!
