The place is worth to visit to have a good view on the city, you can easily access by foot or with the funicular. However, to enter the inside of the castle, i think it’s too expensive for what it is, even with combined tickets.

Die Eingangshalle des Schlosses wurde architektonisch sehr schön und modern renoviert, mit Liebe zum Bestand. Wir waren am Filmabend da. Es gibt kein süßes Popcorn sondern nur salziges.

It's really worth visiting, and even a very thorough visit will not take you too much time (2 hours tops). But tickets are too expensive. I paid 10 euros here and 13 for the entrance to the royal palace in Madrid. And the exhibition in Madrid is way bigger. It is worth visiting, though. And there is a possibility of free entrance, though then you can't see most of the exhibition or climb the tower.

Unter dem Begriff verbirgt sich für mich immer noch etwas mit einer sehenswerten Geschichte. Das habe ich hier nicht gefunden. Die Burg ist überwiegend Neubau. Der Turm ist das beste Beispiel dafür. Mittelalterliche Architektur hatte mehr Know-how als man denkt, denn sie sorgt stets für Kühle im Sommer und Wärme im Winter. Als ich diesen Turm betrat, stand die Luft und daraufhin habe ich mir die Historie des Turm erst angeschaut und siehe da, er wurde im 19. Jh neugebaut und stets für den Tourismus angepaßt. Es ist ein Spaßschloss, welches für Feierlichkeiten sicher eine wahnsinns Kulisse bietet, aber mit historischer Burg oder Schloss hat es nicht viel zu tun. Auch die Ausstellungsstücke sind Replikationen. Es gibt auch keinen Rundgang und bei der Mauer und dem Turm stellen sich mir auch einige Sicherheitsfragen, wenn es nur eine schmale Treppe für den Auf- und Abstieg gibt. Ich habe schon viele Burgen und Schlösser besucht, aber hier wurde bereits der Begriff Playmobilburg verwendet, den finde ich treffend. Die Bahn ist super und ich kann die 5 Sterne Rezession nachvollziehen, aber für mich war es eine Enttäuschung. Die Sterne gibt es für die Bahn und dafür, dass es auch keine Abzocke ist, sondern eine Frage des Geschmacks.

We didn't pay to go inside but there were plenty of freely accessible areas. Views from the top were expansive and we took some nice photos. Blend of old and new architecture is interesting. All in, worth a visit.
