Wegen der tollen Lage unmittelbar am Fluss wollten wir in diesem Restaurant zu Abend essen. Die Bestellung musste zweimal nachgebesessert werden, weil bestimmte Zutaten nicht mehr vorhanden waren. Endlose Wartezeit, bevor das Essen kam. Statt des erwarteten Grillgemüses schwammen auf dem Teller matschige, weil schlecht aufgetaute und nicht genügend erhitzte Blumenkohl und Möhrenstücke - statt des Grillgemüses kam Tiefkühlgemüse... Die Beilage, Kartoffeln mit Mangold, war eine einzige Pampe und nicht gewürzt. Hinterher haben wir erfahren, dass die miese Qualität des Restaurants bekannt ist. Schade, dass wir das nicht vorher erfragt haben....

My wife and I stumbled upon this little family-run hotel in about 2011 when we visited Slovenia for sightseeing and to discover family members we had lost touch with over the last century. On our first night I asked the English speaking receptionist if she knew of any town members with a certain surname. The next morning her father invited some of my distant family members to lunch - what a treat! ||The hotel sat across the street from the "lodge" and the accommodation itself was modest and nice - lots of wood (pine?) in the room. The "lodge" or restaurant was nice and offered typical Slovenian fare. This is a nice little place to stay if you're passing through town or want to explore the beautiful countryside of the Zuzemberk region!

Wir sind hier super zufrieden. Preis Leistung ist sehr gut. Wir stehen mit unserem Wohnmobil. kostenlos auf der Wiese des Restaurants, direkt an einem kleinem sauberen Fluß. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service super nett. Der Wein ist auch noch klasse. Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln für uns.

Odlična hrana in ambient.Kamping območje 30m stran od gostišča.Reka krka je na tem delu zelo plitva in primerna za mularijo.Moznost izposoje kanujev.......

So we decided to take a one day trip to Žužemberk to go canoeing on river Krka and this placed had a great offer. The nature is beautiful, the canoeing itself is very relaxing, we were there on friday at 1pm and we were the only one on the river so this made it even better. Some people swim in the river, but it's very cold :) And dont be afraid of few mosquitos and dragonflies. ||The food at the place is average. 10 minutes before we came from the river, there was an oranized bus of tourist that came for lunch, si we waited a bit longer for food, but the service was good and waitirs were very very friendly. I would definetely recommend this place and i will go there again for sure.
