A convenient and fast way to get from the mainland to the island of Hvar, especially if you are coming from Dubrovnik or Herzegovina. The ride takes half an hour, in the season the ferry leaves approximately every half an hour. Prices are cheaper than from Split due to the shorter distance, but Sućuraj is quite a distance from the town of Hvar, Stari grad and Jelsa.
