Student Project House (SPH)
Welcome to the Student Project House (SPH), a vibrant space located at ETH Zürich, designed specifically for students who are eager to explore, create, and innovate. SPH provides a unique environment where students can gather to test ideas, collaborate on group projects, and bring their concepts to life.
What We Offer
SPH is your playground for curiosity and creativity, featuring a range of facilities and support services tailored to foster innovation:
Makerspace
A student-run workshop outfitted with an array of tools and machines, the Makerspace is perfect for self-initiated projects and prototyping. All ETH students—including bachelor's, master's, and doctoral candidates—are welcome to utilize this space.
Digital Makerspace
This section is dedicated to helping students engage in digital projects, with resources and support readily available to assist in the design and creation of unique digital experiences.
Life Science Lab
The lab offers a safe environment (bio safety level 1) for biology enthusiasts to conduct experiments and push their innovative ideas further. Students are provided with vital equipment and coaching for their biology projects.
Metal Makerspace
Coming soon! This new offering will provide resources for metalworking projects, expanding the possibilities for hands-on creation.
Project Support
SPH acts as a supportive hub for students seeking assistance with their projects. This includes mentoring, funding opportunities, and workshops designed to inspire and empower you to develop an innovative mindset.

Very well equipped, funded and staffed incubator/accelerator for your ETH startup. They support your project with 400CHF a semester and give you coaching and access to experts. They also provide great coworking space for free. It doesnt matter how far you project is, they take anyone, even if you only haven an Idea.
