Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast here. We enjoyed truffled eggs (very generous with the truffles) and a ginger and orange juice as well as coffee and a croque madame which included a side of chips. The chips were cooked perfectly and also came with aioli which was great. Easily could have been a 5/5 if service was a bit faster - the cafe was very busy so it was hard to catch someone's attention as we were sitting in a corner but otherwise staff were friendly and spoke English well which is a plus! Centrally located and reasonably priced, highly recommend when visiting Ljubljana

Davvero un bistrot molto carino, dove fare delle enormi colazioni o brunch. C'è moltissima scelta nel menù e si è a due passi dal centro storico di Lubiana.

I was pretty disappointed with my breakfast here. I ordered the eggs royale, which is like eggs Benedict, but with smoked salmon and avocado. The avocado was pureed and had a preservative flavor, so it definitely came out of a bag and was not fresh. There was a tiny piece of smoked salmon on each piece of bread. However, the eggs were perfectly poached and had a beautiful orange yolk. The bigger disappointment was the granola bowl. On the menu, they had something described as homemade granola with dried fruit, and another one described as granola with raspberries. I don't like dried fruit, so I ordered the second one, envisioning fresh raspberries on top. It was instead little flakes of freezedried raspberries, with absolutely no flavor. It was definitely a waste of 5eu.
