We were a group of eight friends visiting the bar daily during our vacation for afternoon drinks. Although the bar was empty every afternoon, we were surprised that we weren’t allowed to move one small plastic table together so we could sit as a group. While we were permitted to move the chairs ourselves, we were told the plastic tables couldn’t be moved—even though there were no other customers around and plenty of space. Despite this odd and somewhat unwelcoming policy, one waiter truly stood out: Bozidar. He was the only staff member who showed genuine hospitality, always greeting us with a warm smile and providing excellent service throughout our stay. Bozidar went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, and his positive attitude made a big difference in our experience. Big thanks to Bozidar for making us feel like valued guests!

One of the worst excperiences in Opatija. When we came in, no one greeted us, place doesnt look good, it looks deserted, and not taken care of. When bartender came to our table he barely greeted us, and wothout menu or anything asked us what we wanted. When we asked for a menu, he brought us a qr code and told us the prices are from last year. The prices from last year were high (hugo/aperol are 10,20€) and probalbly higher this year. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

Wir waren Hotelgäste nebenan und können uns nur ärgern über diese unerträgliche Lautstärke bis 3 Uhr früh. Die Musik war auch teilweise furchtbar. Wo ist hier die Stadtverwaltung, so etwas sollte nicht geduldet werden.

Wir (mehrere Freunde) sind seit fünf Jahren regelmäßig zu Gast und haben die Atmosphäre sowie das freundliche Personal stets geschätzt. Umso bedauerlicher war unser jüngster Besuch: Das Personal war unmotiviert und wenig serviceorientiert. Auf unsere höfliche Anfrage, den zum Restaurant gehörenden Badebereich zu nutzen, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dieser sei geschlossen – obwohl sich deutlich über 20 Personen dort aufhielten. Leider zeigte sich das Team in der Kommunikation unzugänglich und reagierte unangemessen im Ton. Scheinbar hat es einen Führungswechsel gegeben. Sollte dies zutreffen, wäre es wünschenswert, dass die neue Leitung die Qualität des Kundenservices aufmerksam überprüft. Der Unterschied zum Vorjahr, in dem wir auf engagierte und freundliche Mitarbeitende trafen, ist deutlich spürbar. Schade, dass sich unser langjähriger positiver Eindruck nun so schlagartig verändert hat. Unter diesen Umständen werden wir leider nicht wiederkommen. Absolute Enttäuschung.
