I’ve been to the Met, the British Museum, the Louvre etc - this stands above them in many ways. They have a VERY dense collection of Neolithic, Roman and Egyptian artifacts, well described in English and Croatian. I think a lot of the materials just weren’t taken by the Americans or Brits over time - much of it is from local digs and excavations. A delightful surprise right in the middle of Zagreb!

museo interessante . diverse sale espositive con reperti notevoli . il museo e ' disposto su tre piani . interessanti le sale dedicate alla preistoria della paese. ha anche una sala dedicata all'Egitto e una piu' piccola ai reperti Etruschi. anche il palazzo che ospita il museo e' molto bello.
