Not to great experience, not instructed to take pictures of car at the time of pick up, rent a car charged me 840 euros for three damaged wheel rims, that I have not damaged or have no recollection of running over concrete curb. However I admit I did touch curb with rear right wheel and there were no damage.

We arrived an hour late because the flight was delayed. We called the phone number they have to contact and they spoke to us super rude and telling us to put up with it. That we lose the reservation. When it is not our fault. It is shameful, they say that we lose the money, they do not give us a solution at 22:00h and talking super bad.

Worst experience ever !! We booked a car online, I made the online check-in but when we arrived at the airport counter, the guy from Carwiz told us we must pay 200€ more just because we had a debit card and not a credit card. All other companies at the airport accepts debit card without any issues. We disagree to pay 200€ in addition with what we had already paid online but the guy told us we will not get any refund !! We asked to see the legal conditions of the contract but the guy told us that we should have it by email. I checked but we did not have received anything. We told him this was not correct and ask to speak to his manager and he told us to leave or he will call the police !!! We stayed and the police came. The guy from Carwiz told the police we were violent and insulting him ! Fortunately others customers who were also at the counter told the police that it was not true. This is scandalous !!!! We had no choice but to rent a car from another counter. We are French people coming for holidays, this is the first time we have been treated like that !! I ask now for a full refund of what we paid !

The worse experience I had on car rental company ever. Every year (last 20 years to be exact) I rent the car at Zagreb Airport but never had such a terrible experience. I was told that the car was given to someone else because I didn't show up within 59 minutes from pick up time (it wasn't on my contract) I didn't know that there is a time frame for pick up since I've already paid for entire period and expected that the car will be there no matter when I show up. Since my car is gone they will give me 'another' car BUT I need to pay additional insurance (which I don't need), crossing border fee 100 EUR (in my contract it should be 80 EUR) and 10 EUR for cleaning vehicle (it wasn't on contract as well) on top of costs for car rental. Luckily the visa card pin for deposit didn't work and I decided to give up and take the bus instead. It was the best decision I made that day. Never consider this company again.
