Alles hat super funktioniert. Wir haben ein schönes Auto bekommen. Die Rückgabe war auch ohne Probleme. Gabriel war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wenn ich ein Auto noch mal mieten sollte, dann hier :)

Just as others have said, DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! We also were jilted with a huge charge for a microscopic dent they claimed we inflicted. Looking at other reviews it seems this is a common practice for them. Another local said they especially try to target Americans, especially women (my wife and her friend returned the car). Also 158 euros for a tiny scratch plus don't forget their rediculous 75 euro "processing fee". Stay away at all costs.

Tek smo naknadno vidjeli na kartici da su nam skinuli 200€. Kad smo ih kontaktirali i pitali zašto, rekli su da je automobil ogreban odozdo?! Za to nemamo nikakve dokaze, ništa nam nisu poslali. Osim toga, ne javljaju se na telefon i potpuno nas ignoriraju. Užasna usluga i totalno neprofesionalno ponašanje.

Very bad, they charged me 230€ for some small scratch i didn't do. Now i am calling them and they doesn't want to answer. The worst experience ever. To talk with any boss is impossible, seems they just want to get commission on it. Look how many calls i made:

Terrible experience – avoid this company! We called this rent-a-car company more than 20 times in one day and no one ever answered the phone. Completely unprofessional and impossible to reach when you need help. To make matters worse, they charged us for a scratch under the car – something we definitely didn’t do and wouldn’t have even noticed during pickup. It's clear they’re trying to make extra money from unsuspecting customers. Stay away unless you want to be ignored and unfairly charged!

Do not take the car without inspecting every inch otherwise you will pay your liver for a scratch. The agent didn’t bring a check out report, gave the key in a rainy day to my wife and didn’t ask her for taking fotos … she had to pay 500€ for the scratch that was probably there when she took it. Don’t get scammed

⚠️⚠️I booked a diesel automatic (Golf or similar) via CarJet / AVIA Rent a Car at Zagreb Airport. They gave me a petrol Opel Crossland with bald front tires. I refused it — they asked €50 to switch. When I accepted, suddenly the car was “no longer available”, and they offered another for €150. Just a scam. Avoid at all costs. ‼️‼️

The car rental company faced me with a choice to either pay for the cleaning fee of EUR 9 (WHICH WAS NOT MENTIONED IN THE VOUCHER I made through Discover cars) or to bring back fully washed car. As I knew it will be very inconvenient for me to take the car to the carwash just before returning it, I had to accept the cleaning fee. I returned the car after normal use, it barely had traces of use and it was certainly not excessively dirty. So I believe the cleaning fee was unjustifiably charged. All rental companies I have used so far accept normal use of the car without charging the cleaning fee, especially after a 2-week rental as it was in my case. They also charged me the full winter package fee of EUR 35 on 13 April, while the winter equipment is obligatory until 15 April. I can understand this to some extent as it was mentioned on the voucher that the price excludes winterization fee, but I still find this excessive. They could have charged a reduced fee for those 2 days until 15.4. or simply omit it, but no, they resort to extorting a client. Well, this was the first and the last time I am using their services.

The service and car were fine, no problem there. When we returned the car, though, the employee started inspecting it for 20 minutes or so, just to find a small dent less that 0.5cm, claiming that we did it. Of course, we were not sure about that, as this was not even visible by the eye, so neither in the pictures I had taken upon renting it. They charges us 275 euro for that dent, consider the car hire for 6 days was 100 euro. The employee was rude telling me I had to prove I did not cause the dent, while they could not prove the dent was not there when I rented. Not recommended, never booking from them again.

Weil man angeblich keine Flug Nummer wusste - was nachweislich NICHT stimmt - hat man das Auto weiter vermietet. Ist ja klar, eine Verspätung von einer guten Stunde bei einem Flug ist sicher sowas von ungewöhnlich…. Aber man hat ja eine Lösung: man kann gerne ein anderes Auto mieten ..zum 3 fachen Preis!!! Nie wieder AVIA!!!!

Totally disappointed. I wish I had read the reviews before booking from this company. The initial attractive price turned out to be a complete rip off as you MUST pay extra for winter tires and cleaning of the car (non of which is stated in the contract). The communication with the staff is practically non-existing. Stay away. Not recommended! I assume they will comment my review as they did with all previous bad reviews. Don't be fooled. Just scroll down and see other costumers experience

everything that is wrong with Croatia...basically charging for winter tyres extra...as in the alternative is that you rent out cars without tyres? and that costs more than the rental. disgusting thuggery this beautiful country is marred with...AVOID edit: in response to the nonsense rebuttal. AVIA don't charge this fee when people book directly with them. hence the fee is hidden, only visible after the booking the car. and anyway, why don't you charge for summer tyres? and don't get me started about the car cleaning charges...which in turn is collusion by all local hire car companies. recommendations to everyone, go with bona fide global brand. more expensive, but at least they don't want to trip you up every single step of the way. and that is what is wrong with the country i love so much...

Either don't know what "Pysical" card means, or frond desk is trying to trick you to upsell insurances! My pregnant wife was just prevented from renting the car she paid for today. The attendant said she would have to buy the full insurance because the company policy doesn't accept virtual cards. That's fair enough IF she was trying to use a virtual card. She was NOT with a virtual card. She was with her physical VISA Revolut credit card, which is a regulated bank in the Republic of Ireland. Besides, even if Revolut was not a bank, the VISA credit card was still a PHYSICAL card accepted by their policy. Doesn't matter who issued the credit card, it could have been issued by a supermarket at the corner of a street, what matters is that it was yet a VISA Physical card! As per their own policy: PAYMENT CONDITIONS The following credit cards are accepted: Visa MasterCard American Express Diners Club (...) Please note that virtual debit or credit cards might not be accepted(...). Thus, it doesn't matter which company issued the card, as long as it is one of the listed above (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club), and it's in its physical form!!! What their employee at the front desk did with my wife was absurd! My wife also asked to talk with the manager, but the attendant refused to call the manager, saying it was the policy of the company, and talking to the manager wouldn't help my wife. Why couldn't she talk to the manager? Isn't the customer right to talk to the manager?! Was the attendant trying to trick her just to make the commission on top of upselling insurance? Either way, it doesn't seem right! My wife was in shock, and crying afterwards, alone, and under extreme stress because of what they did to her. She's pregnant for god sake! Thank goodness not all companies have employees like them. She just walked next door (Last Minute Rent a Car box) and managed to rent a car with the same credit card they refused to accept!

Najgora rent a car tvrtka do sada. Nakon što sam preuzeo automobil, primjetio sam da rezervoar nije pun iako je njihova politika "full to full". Na benzinskoj pumpi u blizini je stalo još 5 litara goriva. "Clean to clean" još jedan način izvlačenja novaca od korisnika. Kako da vratim čist auto ako vani pada kiša i u blizini su radovi pa bude blata po cesti? Automobil je proizvodio vibracije prilikom kočenja, odgovor je bio "znate, vani je hladno pa se auto smrzne onda mu treba malo..." Kada sam to sve spomenuo djelatnicima, nikakav pokušaj pomoći. Tko god može, neka zaobilazi.
