The car given to us was in a very good state and it was a real asset to do the trip we wanted to. There was no problem taking it and giving it back as Eugen was really professional and nice. Just something to take into account (especially for French residents) : the rental is more expensive when using a debit card as the insurance is not the same as when using a credit card. We'll recommend and do again!

5 star for Eugen ,Exelerent for everything! with out credit card ! I rent a Kia Rio but Eugen upgrade to new Vitara with no extra charge , very clean car with no any damages . He answer on my questions in a minute by WhatsApp. We have a delay 2 hours for a traffic out of Poznan . He didn't charge anything and he was just in time to pick up the car . He is perfect quy and I recommend to everyone Avax Rent ! 5 stars 🙂🙂🙂

I booked a van through the website and confirmed the reservation with cash payment, not card. After that, an employee named Eugen contacted me on WhatsApp and asked me for pictures of the license and ID. He treated me badly and asked if I would pay with the card. I said I would pay in cash, so he immediately cancelled my reservation and said that there were no cars available. In fact, I do not know why he did that, knowing that I dealt with him with the utmost respect and I booked from the agency after reviewing the good Google Maps reviews, but I was not successful in dealing with this employee.

All’inizio ero un po’ dubbiosa, poi ho prenotato tramite whatsapp ed il servizio è stato impeccabile fin dall’inizio. Su whatsapp sono stata aiutata da un ragazzo a scegliere l’opzione migliore per la prenotazione, parlava italiano perfettamente e mi ha subito convinta aiutandomi anche a risparmiare qualcosina con i suoi consigli. Prenotazione facilissima e velocissima, prezzo basso rispetto a quelli che si trovano in alta stagione in croazia, e non ho pagato cauzione dell’auto acquistando l’assicurazione totale. Ci è stata data la possibilità di pagare anche in contanti lì, e così abbiamo fatto, anche questo molto velocemente. La macchina era perfetta, molto carina e pulitissima. Ci siamo trovati davvero molto bene con tutto lo staff, e in generale con l’auto.

We've been using Avax for around 6 years now in Zadar and this time in Zagreb. I really cannot recommend highly enough - the staff (Eugen) was amazing, really helpful and friendly and the whole process is just made so easy. No silly hidden extras and really great cars. I wouldn't use anyone else in Croatia ❤️

Rented a beautiful Suzuki Vitara from Eugen for the last 5 days, this was the easiest and best car rental experience I've ever had. No waiting in lines, no fuss about anything - Eugen really made the whole process easy by waiting for me at my flight arrival time and waited for me when I dropped off the car. I will be back in 2 months time again, and I know for sure I will use Avax again. Thank you Eugen, what an amazing addition you are to the company!

Excelente trato, el proceso muy sencillo, personal amable tanto en Split que renté el carro como en Zagreb que lo devolví. Cómo único detalle no se entregó lavado por lo que era complicado revisar detalles que pudiera tener pero como tenía contratado todos los seguros me dijeron que no había pendiente si tenía algún desperfecto el carro. Todo funcionó bien y pudimos disfrutar de los Lagos de Plitvice que son una maravilla.

What other reviewers said about easy online registration, responsive communication, and no fuss car collection are all true. However, the car I was given was very dirty, and the fuel gauge indicated only 89km range!!! I asked, and Avax staff said it is not a norm for me to get a full tank at the point of car collection! As I was going to drive a long distance upon collecting the car, I couldn't do it and instead had to look for a pump station! Very disappointing for the price I have paid!

We had a very good experience with Avax, registration was done online prior to picking up the car, so I only spent about 5 minutes in the office and I was ready to go. I had the full insurance, so no deposit was needed, and I also appreciated the no credit card option, which is not so common in Croatia. Car was in a good condition and clean. The rental office was always available for any questions.

This is the fastest and easiest car rent service, no extra fees, no security deposit. Eugene delivered the car to the hotel, and we returned it at the airport. Eugene was very polite and pleasant to deal with. The best rental in Croatia, we will definitely go back again. Highly recommended.
