Our Heritage

Welcome to Meum Winery, where we proudly continue the rich winemaking tradition initiated by Chartusian Monks in the 12th Century. Our vineyards rest on historic plots where these monks, who founded the Žiče Charterhouse, cultivated grape varieties that still thrive today. Notably, they were the first Chartusian monks to establish a monastery outside of France or Italy, which reflects our winery's deep-rooted connection to winemaking history.

Our Wines

At Meum Winery, we specialize in crafting exquisite Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the very grapes planted by those pioneering monks. Our dedication to quality is evident as we enhance our winemaking methods year after year. We are located in Eastern Slovenia, an area celebrated for producing outstanding wines. Led by our owner and winemaker, Jurij Brumec, we continually strive to elevate our wine production, and our creations are gaining recognition worldwide for their excellence.

Nestled in the stunning landscapes of Eastern Slovenia, our winery benefits from a unique climate and soil that are perfect for viticulture. Slovenia, often overlooked, lies at the crossroads of Italy, Austria, Hungary, and Croatia, with a winemaking heritage that dates back to ancient Roman times.

Our wine tours include vineyard visits and wine tastings, with several package options available. Shipping and Orders

For wine enthusiasts in the European Union, we offer direct shipping of our wines. You can conveniently order as few as one bottle; however, to make shipping more economical, we recommend ordering a minimum of 12 bottles. This way, you can enjoy our exceptional wines while keeping shipping costs reasonable.
