Unfortunately, our experience at the villa was overshadowed by the behavior of the host. She would enter the house without any notice and walk freely through the rooms, even touching and removing our personal belongings. Although the check-out time was stated as 10:00 AM, she began collecting our things from the terrace and bringing them inside as early as 9:50 AM, creating a sense of pressure and urgency. Prices for additional services were made up on the spot without prior agreement. The listing stated that breakfast and a private chef were included, yet we were charged extra for breakfast. Moreover, the food was not sufficient for all six guests — only four portions were served, and we were told there weren’t enough eggs for everyone. At check-out, the host acted extremely inappropriately — she began removing our suitcases and throwing them outside the villa gate without our consent, which was very unpleasant. The villa itself is decent, but the host’s attitude and behavior left much to be desired.

Greed and irresponsibility of the host are off the charts! If I had booked through Booking, the price wouldn't have changed based on the number of guests, since the villa accommodates 8 people! But apparently, the host couldn’t understand that. I informed her that we would be 5 people, with three arriving right away and two later — to which she said it was no problem. However, she later demanded 1000€ for the additional guests. How is that even possible? The breakfasts at 450€ were simply appalling. Not just scanty, but nonexistent. They asked what we wanted for breakfast, but 450€ for a salad, omelet, and juice? Seriously? You wouldn't find such prices in luxury hotels! It's clear the host is just pulling prices out of thin air. Additionally, be prepared that, although check-out is at 10 AM, the host will start gathering things and making a mess in the hallway by 9:50 AM. This is absolutely unacceptable! I've never experienced such rudeness and greed. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

Disgusting ‘hospitality,’ a ruined vacation, and aggression instead of service! I booked a villa for eight people, clearly informing the host that three of us would arrive first and two more would join later. Instead of a warm welcome, we were met with outright greed: an extra €330 charged for each “additional” guest! Even though we were perfectly transparent from the start, they still nickel‑and‑dimed us. The real nightmare began when the cleaner found… a used condom in one of the rooms. The host burst in—without knocking—through a “service” entrance, then screamed an ultimatum: “You must leave the villa today, or I’ll call the police!” As if that weren’t enough, every time we tried to discuss the situation, the host brushed us off with cold rudeness: “I’m not going to talk to you; I don’t have time—I have other guests.” What kind of “service” accuses you of wild parties and chaos when we were quiet, respectful, and left no trash or broken dishes behind? This was a blatant invasion of privacy and baseless intimidation. This wasn’t hospitality—it was a horror show. Our vacation was destroyed by greed, aggression, and outright hostility. I strongly advise anyone seeking a peaceful getaway to steer clear of this so‑called villa and its host!

Imali smo čast proslaviti svoje vjenčanje u La Maison vili u Istri i zaista ne možemo biti zadovoljniji. Vila je prelijepa, s nevjerojatnom pažnjom posvećenom svakom detalju, a cijeli ambijent stvoren je za nezaboravne trenutke. Hrana je bila izvrsna, svaki zalogaj savršeno pripremljen, a usluga na najvišoj razini. Hostovi su izuzetno ljubazni i uslužni, uvijek spremni pomoći i osigurati da sve prođe besprijekorno. La Maison je uistinu mjesto gdje snovi postaju stvarnost. Topla preporuka svima koji traže posebno mjesto.

What an amazing dream of a house! The host has thought about every single detail: from Dyson hairdryers in every single bathroom to tea selection and board games for couples or friends to never have a boring day, absolutely fabulous. The interior is beautifully as well as purposfully designed so that you get the best out of your stay at this amazing villa. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat with your loved ones, or a dynamic stay with your family and friends, the host and her team have you covered. Plus, this villa is located at an amazing location, with no noisy neighbours and beautiful nature. And the night sky full of stars is breathtaking.. My favourite ever stay, thank you ♡
