Founded in 2001, Supreme Sails Ltd. specializes in producing high-quality cruising, racing, and one-design sails and accessories. Our commitment to using only the finest materials, combined with a computerized manufacturing process, ensures our sails are renowned for their exceptional performance and durability.

One Design Sails

At Supreme Sails, we take special care with our OPTIMIST sails. Our dedicated team invests significant time in developing, projecting, and testing these sails to enhance their performance. We focus on both the static and dynamic aspects to ensure each sail is stronger and faster than the last. Although radial cut sails have gained popularity globally, we have chosen to stick with the proven cross-cut design, resulting in numerous victories at prestigious regattas. We offer three distinct models tailored for different weight categories: SMALL (up to 38 kg), MEDIUM (38 to 48 kg), and LARGE (over 48 kg), providing top-quality products that guarantee success.

Cruising Sails

While cruising sails are generally simpler to manufacture than racing sails, we remain committed to delivering excellence. Our cruising sails are predominantly made from Dacron, a material known for its resistance to varying weather conditions. We utilize premium Dacron from reputable sources such as Dimension Polyant and Bainbridge, ensuring our customers receive the best possible cruising experience.

Racing Sails

Racing sails pose unique challenges in their construction, requiring specialized shapes and materials. The need for various sails for different wind conditions can lead racing boats to require up to 15 different sails. We start by selecting the appropriate cloth, ranging from affordable mylar to high-performance kevlar and carbon fiber. At Supreme Sails, we pride ourselves on using only the premium materials available on the global market.

The essential traits of a racing sail include weight and responsiveness. Our skilled sailmakers craft sails that maintain their shape despite the intense static and dynamic forces they encounter. The use of advanced materials ensures our sails are both stronger and lighter, significantly reducing overall weight. Over the years, we have produced numerous racing sails for a variety of racing boats, including ESIMIT, PAIKEA, FIRST 36.7, 40.7, and 44.7, all of which continue to triumph in important regattas.
