An amazing series of hidden gems just a 25 minute bus ride from the centre of sibenik (number 5 bus as of 2025) + a 25 min walk. You can also drive and there is lots of parking available. There are only a few building you cannot enter but most of them are open to the public. There are no tickets and you truly have free roam. I went during high season (August) and the whole area felt serene. There is also a beach area and a cool diving spot that never felt crowded. Possibly the highlight of the military sightseeing came when you venture down the coast (along the clearly marked path) eastwards. There is a small stairway down to the sea about 15 mins in to the walk which takes you down into a beautiful cove. Here you cannot only see the church tucked away in the cliff, but also the extraordinary tunnel known as “Hitlers eyes”. You can walk along a thin ledge and see where the Germans stored military equipment during the war.

Der wohl beste Badeort in der Umgebung, unter der Woche sehr wenn g besucht. Am Wochenende kommen viele Einheimische generell wenig Touristen. Immer Platz im Schatten, eine Toilette beim Parkplatz (50Cent). Tolles Wasser wie immer sehr klar. Toll zum Schnorcheln, es gibt Fisch, ab etwa 4/5 Meter auch kleine Weichkorallen, Krebse, größere Fische, einen großen Anker, behinderten gerechter Zugang zum Meer über eine Rampe. Es gibt immer einen Ort um seine Hängematte im Schatten aufzuspannen. Nur Essen und Trinken selber mitbringen. Mit dem Auto bei einem sehr großen Parkplatz aber kein Problem. Also geht da nicht hin der soll ruhig bleiben.
