I do not recommend drive there, quite unsafe road. I lost one tire trying and had to replace it in the grave road near the cliff. Go by boat or hike down the road

Despite what local ignorami claim, this was never designed or built as a submarine base. The second Yugoslavia used it as a shelter fot attack craft, mostly Končar class missile gunboats and Osa class missile boats.
