A new activity for me but, thanks to today's tour, one I'm keen to experience again. Easy online booking and pick up was punctual. About 25 minutes transfer to the site base to get kitted out (give accurate sizes when you book) then a sweltering 15 minutes hike and clamber to the starting point of the canyoning. Guides very professional whilst maintaining an air of fun but safety briefing made us aware of the possible dangers. A mix of jumping, rappelling, climbing up ropes and sliding down natural channels was the reward and alternative options for those less mobile or brave were offered. The freezing water was bliss the first few times we jumped in and at the end we all lay in the shallows at the edge of the pool as everyone completed the course. Photos taken by the guides throughout the tour are sent by email free of charge. Tremendous fun despite the exertions - so exhilarating!

Rafting was very well organised. I was definitely nervous at the start but after the first few minutes felt secure and reassured by the guide’s expertise. By the end I was having so much fun I wasn’t ready for it to be over! The guide interacted a lot with us the whole time and gave lots of information about the surrounding environment. Very good value for money in my opinion, as it was €45 for the whole trip including pickup and drop off back to Bled by shuttle. The lake is breathtakingly beautiful and it was a privilege to experience it. If you’re doubting about whether to do this, go for it! You won’t regret it.

Sehr schöne Tour. Wir sind im August gefahren. Die Sava (Save?) war nicht allzu wild (wegen Wasserstand oder allgemein auf diesem Streckenabschnitt?) aber es war trotzdem sehr abwechslungsreich. Dadurch auch für Anfänger und Familien geeignet. Es werden auch Fotos gemacht, die man nach der Tour bekommt. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, an bestimmten Stellen ins Wasser zu gehen. Die Guides machen verschiedene "Manöver" mit dem Boot. Einmal macht man "Body Surfing" (wer mag), d.h. man lässt sich auf dem Rücken liegend im Wasser flussabwärts treiben. Daher komplett empfehlenswert. Tipp für die guides: bei unseren Fotos waren teilweise Tropfen auf der Linse und dadurch natürlich die Fotos stellenweise unscharf.

I did the Sava Kayaktour the second time with Funtourist last week. Again it was awesome and very funny. The guides are very skilled, friendly, funny and they make sure nothing bad can happen. Just try it, you won't regret ;)

We did horseriding through this tour group. Booking the tour was very easy with good communication throughout. There was a slight problem with the time initially booked so it needed to be rearranged but , again, there was clear communication and easy alternatives. We got collected and taken to the stables where our horses were ready and waiting. We were a family of 4 (children 10 & 13), with one member never having ridden before. We had a guide (Ilsa - apologies if name spelt wrong) who was very knowledgeable about the horses and the area. We had a quick walk round the paddock first to make sure we were all comfortable then Ilsa walked us on a beautiful loop through fields, farms, next to streams, it was all beautiful. We were also accompanied by the 2 stable dogs too! It was a comfortable pace - both for the more experienced rider and for the person who had never ridden before. Ilsa explained that for more experienced riders there are route options allowing for trots and canters. One word of advice though - bring insect repellant - we got bitten by the horse flies even though we were covered up!
