Predivan ambijent, posebno tradicijski uređen interijer,keramičko posuđe s logom restorana, pomno osmišljen jelovnik s domaćim jelima iz cijele Hrvatske su ono što dolazak u ovaj restoran čini posebnim iskustvom. Konobar je bio veoma ljubazan i lijepo je prezentirao svako jelo. Hrana je bila veoma ukusna, juha od raštike ukusna i salata s žabama ukusna. Ocjena 3 za hranu je isključivo radi količine. Cijena kg žaba u nabavi je 25 eura, a u mojoj salati koja košta 18 eura je bilo 5 malih žaba koje su težile 100g. Argument konobara da je to predjelo ne drži vodu jer u u Španjolskoj tapasi tj. zalogajčići koštaju 5e-7e i nije ti žao naručiti četiri ako si gladan. Dakle kada predjelo košta jednako kao glavno jelo ne može biti veličine zalogajčića. Romantično da, ali niska vrijednost za novac.

Last night, we visited Veranda, a family-owned restaurant with genuinely kind and helpful staff. We asked for recommendations and let them choose the best dishes for us. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite meet our expectations – the taste didn’t match the price, and we were a bit disappointed. However, the overall atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming.

A Hidden Gem in Dubrovnik Veranda was the best dining experience of our trip! The family-run atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is outstanding—fresh, locally sourced, and full of flavor. And every course was a perfect blend of traditional Croatian and modern cuisine. The service was personal and genuine, making us feel right at home. A must-visit if you're in Dubrovnik!

Such a happy surprise to find an authentic, family-run restaurant in a massive resort like Sun Gardens. This was the best food we’ve had so far in Croatia! Servers were all so friendly and welcoming. We got the poor man’s bread (a must!) with prosciutto, and the seafood risotto. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing fresh food. You can really feel the chefs heart poured into every dish. We had the veal risotto, truffle pasta, cod fish cakes, and chicken nuggets for kids. Would recommend every last dish.

We went here for our first night in Croatia. The food is incredible! It’s a family owned business. The staff is so kind, the service is top notch. We had the pate, frog legs, truffle pasta and for dessert a white chocolate ravioli with candied figs. The pasta is homemade and not too heavy. We want to come back to try the special chicken which is a family recipe, it does require a 24 hour notice to prepare.

A party of six dined at the establishment this evening, and while the food was satisfactory, it did not exceed expectations. The provision of menus required a request, and the food service was delayed, necessitating follow-up. Despite ordering only main courses, the preparation and delivery time exceeded 75 minutes. The extended wait nearly prompted our departure, particularly given the restaurant's apparent capacity. This delay was deemed excessive. A 10% discount was offered as compensation for the extended wait time. Regrettably, based on this experience, we are unable to recommend a return visit.

Such incredible, authentic dishes. The cheese and poor man’s bread starter was incredible. For mains we ordered the monkfish, the seafood risotto and the lamb and ravioli dish. All were delicious but the star was the lamb- I highly recommend it. Service was great too, and the outdoor seating was welcoming and comfortable.
