I am a UK veterinarian on holiday in Lapad. I was quite concerned about a specific street cat's eyes. I visited this clinic and met a nurse and an old male vet. I identified myself as a UK veterinarian and explained the situation. I got an appointment for the cat and was later seen by a different vet and nurse who helped so much with the aid of a local lady who knew the cat. The plan was for me to administer eye ointment a few times a day until I leave Dubrovnik, where I would then drop the eye ointment off at the clinic. On dropping the eye medication off today, I wanted to provide an update to the vet on how the cat is doing. This was the old male vet. I handed the eye medication back and tried to provide the update. He was INCREDIBLY rude towards me, refusing to talk to me, getting visibly agitated and waving me off with his hands multiple times. I tried to explain the situation multiple times but he refused to listen to me. The nurse, who I've met before, stepped in and listened to me and was happy to relay an update to the other vet. I am shocked at this old vet's professional conduct and I've never experienced this utter lack of professional courtesy from one vet to another. Thank you to the staff that helped me and the little street cat. I wish her all the best and hope she improves soon.
