We had a bit of melancholic moment, because we missed slovenian panonic food and this is a perfect opportunity. Gujžina offers traditional cuisine from Prekmurje but done in a modern way. We ordered gnocchi (cucki) with pumpkin pesto and dödöle which are some kind of potato dumplings and both dishes were very well prepared and delicious. Service was also good and to the point. I see some customers had a very negative experience, but we were served quickly, politely and correctly. Also the price is fair, considering the type of food and the fact you're in the very centre of the capital. Highly recommended for people who want to experience local cuisine.

Usually I don't leave (negative) reviews. But this experience deserves one. Waiters, especially waitress were incredibly grumpy, rude and uninterested to serve us. It's like they dont want customers to enter the restaurant. Never been treated like this before in a restaurant. Feels like they only want white customers. Also found a toothpick in the dessert. Worst experience ever. Wish I had read all the other negative reviews before entering this restaurant.

Restoran sa slovenkim specijalitetima, jeli smo njihov poznati prekmurski gulaš koji je, zaista ne mislim vrijeđati njihovu nacionalnu kuhinju, potpuno isto što i naš najobičnii gulaš s krumpirima i lukom, kasnije smo probali i gibanicu koja je bila vrlo ukusna ali isto jedemo već godinama u Zagrebu. Jela su bila poslužena vrlo lijepo i konobari su bili stalno na usluzi. Zamjerka: WC nije u restoranu već morate izaći iz restorana i ući u nekakvu halu pokraj...bezveze. Zapravo nije restoran loš, kao ni hrana, samo slovenci očito osim kranjske kobasice nemaju ništa svoje za ponuditi.

The restaurant is quite preferred among locals. It offers nice authentic food from east region of Slovenija (Prekmurje). If you are there during summer, make sure to start with "milk soup" which is actually made of yogurt. Than take a set of cheeses and salamis as an appetizer. For main I recommend special pork prepared in a local style and veal slices with mushrooms. Take white local vine to start with and red to finish. For sweets definitely famous "Prekmurska Gibanica" and rolled cake (rolada) with cranberry. I know this can be good restaurant however not this time. The service was slow and not to the usual standards. Further on, when we have ordered veal we received a dish with tofu instead... Unfortunately my Japanese guests were to polite to complain so I gad to intervene. We found out that cook made a mistake. The bad thing - they should either inform us that mistake was made or just prepare proper one. In this case they simply new but waited if someone finds out. Totally unacceptable!!!

Very rude waitress While we were waiting for the table to be cleared she literally swept crumbs vigorously all over us. We waited to be served for about 10 minutes; nobody came! In the end we didn't want to give our money to this place and promptly left.
