DEM d. o. o. is a leading company in the field of power generation, focusing on renewable energy sources. Our power generation portfolio includes a mix of large hydro power plants, small hydro power plants, solar energy facilities, and a pumped storage power plant.

Power Generation Capacity

We proudly operate a total of 19 power plants which include:

• Large Hydro Power Plants: 8 facilities with an annual production of 2,779 GWh.
• Small Hydro Power Plants: 5 facilities producing 20 GWh annually.
• Solar Power Plants: 6 facilities generating 3.5 GWh each year.

Recent Developments

We are actively engaged in the Kozjak Pumped Storage Hydropower Plant project, which boasts a capacity of 2 x 220 MW. Recent public presentations were held to update local communities on the project's progress. This initiative underscores our commitment to innovative energy solutions for the future.

Environmental Responsibility

Our operations are deeply rooted in environmental responsibility. Our hydro power plants harness the natural flows of the Drava River while implementing various ecological projects aimed at preserving local ecosystems. Museum of the Fala Hydro Power Plant

The Fala Hydro Power Plant, the oldest functional large hydro power plant in Slovenia, also features a museum that showcases historical artifacts, including a preserved horizontal Francis turbine. Declared a national cultural monument, this site provides valuable insights into the history of energy production in Slovenia.
