Ne znam odakle bih počela sa izražavanjem sopstvenog oduševljenja ovim restoranom, ovom vilom. Apsolutno je sve savršeno, svaki detalj. Usluga je fenomenalna, hrana i piće vrhunskog kvaliteta, ali ono što zaslužuje ne 5 nego 100 zvjezdica je atmosfera u restoranu. Prelijepa muzika, prelijep ambijent i još ljepši pogled na more, Cavtat i Dubrovnik u daljini. Očarana sam i rado ću se vratiti u ovaj restoran svakom prilikom. Apsolutne pohvale. Hvala Vam za uspomenu na 25. rođendan. ❤

We just popped in for a glass of wine because the view looked great. The menu looked great so decided to have a bite as well. Our seating area on the covered terrace had a beautiful view of Cavtat with Dubrovnik old town in the distance. The sushi selection was superb. Their wasabi is something else, my wife particularly enjoyed the matcha tiramisu. Beautiful. The staff that we encountered were all lovely and professional and the facilities were spotless. We felt very let down. We arrived and it was a lovely ambience, however the expectations set by the restaurant were let down by the actions. We went for a jazz night, but what you had as a photograph wasn’t delivered on the night with one person playing saxophone over music being played out of a speaker. Our server took our order and returned with drinks, then the wait for our mains began. Eventually after well over an hour it arrived without my meal. I was told it would be there shortly but it took over 15 minutes to arrive whilst I saw drinks coming out for other tables. When it did arrive the portion was smaller than the other exact meal produced earlier. The tofu dish had three pieces of tofu and little else. The Vege noodles were short as a main dish too. Wine was mediocre. We then ordered dessert and again we were waiting for an eternity for it to turn up. Our menus were removed as you were short. Plates removed when everyone wasn’t finished. The server was having issues and compliants with the other tables around us. Food being mixed up, orders not coming out. We didn’t bother staying for dessert as it was taking far too long and the server cried at us for cancelling it. The sax player was put in an awkward place if you needed to go to the bathroom, you had him right in your eye at the top of the stairs. It felt like faulty towers and was dangerous for staff navigating it serving from the kitchen to table. If you want an expensive drink go, but if you want a timely meal don’t. Overpriced and underserved.

A true gem by the sea! Wine Bar Banac completely exceeded my expectations. The sushi was absolutely outstanding – the best I’ve ever had. You can taste the freshness in every ingredient, and the flavors are so well balanced. We were drawn in for the jazz night and decided to eat some sushi before ordering a meal. We ordered four sushi rolls and received only three rolls. I brought this problem up to the waitress and she looked very confused and couldn't identify exactly what she delivered to our table. I also asked her to bring us some soy sauce to mix with our wasabi and she did. I also asked her to bring us a check so we could leave because the sushi was the worst I ever had and please only charge me for three sushi rolls since that is what she brought to our table. After about 20 minutes and a few conversations with our waitress, she shows up with a bill (including four sushi rolls) and the missing sushi roll. Are you kidding me, seriously? Could never recommend this place for sushi because of poor quality and high cost.
