The place was a recommendation by the hotel manager! Slovenian food , and advised to have a reservation in advance ! Very tasty food, kind personnel while they are quite busy ! Must try the Slovenian cheese with garlic sauce on top and the desserts

Although looking good, the chicken was totally lacking in seasoning, just a meat fried in oil. The waiter seemed to be in a bad mood and was unwilling to explain the dishes or suggest anything. There are certainly better, less touristy restaurants in Ljubljana.

I wanted to try the Slovenian cuisine and I was suggested to try this restaurant. Without asking, we received homemade bread and homemade butter with garlic. Italian people like me love bread and I loved this starter. I tried 3 different dishes: -warm starter, štruklji with mushrooms -main dish, idrijski, dumplings filled with potatoes, with vegetables (mainly mushrooms) -another main dish, pork covered by ham and cheese, with roasted potatoes. Everything was amazing and I finished everything. The only “bad” things were the potatoes because they were smushed and my expectations were different. The waiters were really nice. I didn’t pay for the water and the service. The final price, compared with food quantity and quality, was perfect. I really recommend this restaurant!

Prijeten ambient in prijazni natakarji. Meni pijače in aperitivov zelo spodoben. Meni jedi je pač...slovenski....nekatere jedi so "težke", zato ne naročajte z očmi 🙂
