Bad food, unfriendly owner! Too expensive not worth it, there’s so many better places! The Donkey (owned by the restaurant) is pregnant every year, but we never see a baby the next year. I don’t even want to know what happens to the baby!! Can’t recommend!!!

Vegan/ Vegetarian Options are basically zero. Super unfriendly owner, not taking any critics but is getting aggressive instead. There was a miserable looking donkey tied to a tree owned by the restaurant. Locals told me that he has the donkey tied all year as a tourist attraction. So sad to hear!!! Food was not good either!

Adorei encontrar esse restaurante na nossa visita a Hvar. Achamos por acaso passeando pela área rural da ilha. No dia que visitamos éramos os únicos clientes. As mesas ficam ao ar livre embaixo de muitas árvores. Um clima perfeito. Nosso pedido foi atum com legumes na brasa e vinho da casa. O atendimento foi ótimo e inclusive fomos convidados pra ver nosso pedido assando na brasa. Ao final da refeição ganhamos pudim de sobremesa e compramos azeite de produção local. Tudo muito simples, mas vem feito.

Prekrasno iskustvo! Hrana je bila odlicna, usluga brza i ljubazna, a atmosfera u restoranu podsjeca na pravu domacu kuhinju. Osjecali smo se kao kod kuce. Topla preporuka svima!

We had a lovely meal at Restaurant Santa Marija. The standout was the octopus peka, which was cooked to perfection and delicious. The children shared the chicken fillet and fries, which was beautifully cooked too.

Lieu magnifique découvert en cherchant sur maps. Un accueil vraiment sympa de cette petite famille. Demandez au chef il vous expliquera comment il réalise la "peka". Ce plat traditionnel excellent ! Le cadre est si agréable qu'on y perd la notion du temps. Le service est top, les plats savoureux ! Nous y sommes allés 2 fois en 3 jours. Un moment de plaisir, encore merci 👏

Encontramos esse restaurante por acaso enquanto passávamos pela região. Fomos recebidos por um dos membros da família e incialmente ficamos um pouco receosos, pois não tinha cardápio. Das opções dadas escolhemos o filé de atum. O peixe é feito na brasa, assim como os legumes e fomos convidados a ver o preparo, tudo muito bem feito. A comida estava ótima, com azeite e vinhos da casa, além do bom atendimento.

Immer wieder gerne gehen wir seit einigen Jahren hier bei Santa Marija zum Essen. Der Grillteller (13€!!!) eine Wucht! Ein Familienbetrieb der seines Gleichen sucht. Herzlich, gute Qualität und guter Service. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!
