Wir waren für eine Nacht in Ljubljana und sind durch Zufall hier gelandet. Wir hatten das Schwein sous vide und das Kalb mit Trüffel. Beides war super geil. Eine reine Geschmacksexplosion. Das Fleisch war so zart und saftig! Lediglich das Schwein war zum Ende etwas zu salzig. Serviert werden zwei kleine Vorspeisen. Selbst gebackenes Brot mit Pilzbutter und geröstetes Brot mit Knoblauchcreme. Wir waren danach satt. Mit zwei Bier, Cola und Wasser und Trinkgeld 70€. War die Qualität definitiv wert. Wenn wir das nächste Mal in Ljubljana sind, werden wir wieder kommen.

The most disappointing meal we've had in Ljubljana. The food itself was lovely, but the service was unbelievably slow. It took 3 hours for our meal. We questioned the waiter on this (other customers had also commented how slow it was) and he answered rather arrogantly that this is how long a tasting menu should take. I have had tasting menus with twice as many courses that were quicker than this without being rushed. However, this was not a tasting menu, rather a set menu they are calling a tasting menu. They also seemed put out at how little I was drinking - I cannot drink alcohol for 3 hours and enjoy food. A real shame as quicker service would have made this a much better meal, whereas we came away feeling hungry and tired at how late the meal finished.

This was so disappointing. I love food experiences and have been disappointed very few times but this was definitely one! The only reason for two stars is the service and plating were good! However, the food was so disappointing. The fixed menu option requires every person get a large pork option which was a bummer. I wish it changed with the specials or I wish we could just selected our own options from the list. We ended up just ordering off the menu. The appetizer with shrimp was definitely frozen and tiny “king prawn” they were smaller than a standard shrimp. The tuna appetizer was also definitely frozen and was so tough which I have never experienced with tuna. The swordfish was FRIED!!! That should be against the rules with food. The menu is so large I have to believe everything is frozen besides the specials. It was such a bummer. Lamb was tough. also, they have 250 local wines on the menu which is exciting but overwhelming. We asked for a mild unsweet red and were served a cab/merlot blend. Obviously not the end of the world but if you have 250 wines then customers are going to need help and this wine missed the mark for what we wanted.

Schade, dass es keine 6 Sterne gibt, denn hier wären diese angebracht! Etwas abseits der Touristenströme gelegen und ein absoluter Geheimtipp für anspruchsvolle Genießer. Tolles Essen, prima Service und außergewöhnlich gute Speisekarte mit frischen Zutaten und alles zu angemessenen Preisen, also eine absolute Empfehlung von mir! P.S. Das Dessert nicht vergessen!!!
