Posjetila sam konobu Daniela prvi put nakon dužeg vremena. To više nije ista konoba kao prije nekoliko godina. Atmosfera kao u pučkoj kuhinji: glasno, pretrpano gostima, zbijeni stolovi, minimalno 15 konobara koji trče po terasi i ne mogu prolaziti između stolova. Čim smo došli, mislim da nam je svaki od tih konobara prišao i pitao što ćemo popiti (u razmacima od 30 sekundi). Za vrijeme večere konobari su se služili našim stolom da odlažu tanjure koje nose na druge stolove. Glavno jelo je stiglo prije nego smo završili sa predjelom pa su nam uzimali tanjure od predjela dok smo još žvakali da bi mogli staviti glavno jelo. S pozitivne strane, hrana je odlična i osoblje je ljubazno. Razumijem da je špica sezone i da imaju puno posla, ali nažalost to im utječe na kvalitetu usluge. Radije maknite nekoliko stolova i vratite nam Danijelu kakva je bila nekad :)

Ogni volta che andiamo in ferie a Parenzo, non possiamo non andare a mangiare la tartare da Daniela. Tutto il cibo e ben cucinato, belle porzioni. Ambiente molto caratteristico e molto be tenuto, compreso il paesino nel quale si trova il ristorante. Consigliatissimo.

Uvijek rado posjećena konoba, izvrtan tartar biftek koji se sprema ispred gosta, i ostala hrana u ponudi vrhunska, vlasnici i svi ostali konobari ljubazni i profesjonalni, iako je lokal uvjek pun nikad se ne osjećate zanemreni. Sve preporuke. Obavezna rezervacija.

Ako tražite autentičan istarski doživljaj, Konoba Daniela u malenom mjestu Veleniki kraj Poreča pravi je izbor! Oduševljenje počinje već pri dolasku – topla dobrodošlica, opuštena atmosfera i osjećaj kao da ste došli kod starih prijatelja, a ne samo na večeru. Hrana je izvrsna – svježi tartufi pravi su dragulj kuhinje, a svaki tanjur odiše pažnjom i ljubavlju prema lokalnim sastojcima. Preporučujemo domaću tjesteninu s tartufima i sezonu prilagođena jela – sve je svježe, ukusno i savršeno prezentirano. Posebna pohvala ide vlasniku Igoru – izuzetno prijateljski, ljubazan i uvijek spreman preporučiti najbolje iz kuće. Njegova prisutnost daje mjestu poseban šarm i osjećaj dobrodošlice koji se rijetko gdje nalazi. Usluga je brza, profesionalna, ali nimalo hladna – naprotiv, osoblje je srdačno i uvijek nasmijano. Vrlo rado ćemo se vratiti opet – Konoba Daniela nije samo restoran, već iskustvo koje se pamti. Preporuka od srca!

Es war ein fantastischer Abend. Am Nachmittag noch eben reserviert, dann Poreč besichtigt (auch sehr gut) und dann 20 Uhr in die gut gefüllte Konoba eingekehrt. Vorweg Tatar (definitiv ein Muss wenn man schon mal da ist) und dann die Platte Daniela für 2. Alles TOP gewürzt, gegart und angerichtet. Perfekte Menge und sehr freundliche Bedienungen. Wir kommen sicher wieder, danke Clemens für den „Geheimtipp“.

We’ve been wanting to visit Konoba Daniela for three years now, but always missed our chance due to how quickly they book out — which only added to the anticipation. This year, we finally managed to plan ahead and secure a reservation. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the expectations built over the years. To begin with, despite booking for five people, our reservation had only been recorded for two. Instead of acknowledging the mistake or showing any real interest in resolving it, the waiter simply shrugged and said, “No problem, I have space,” before seating us at the least desirable table in the restaurant — a dark corner right next to the waiters’ station, completely void of any atmosphere. From there, the service continued to disappoint. Rather than having one dedicated server, we were approached by multiple waiters throughout our lunch, none of whom seemed genuinely invested in our experience. At a place that prides itself on warm, homely hospitality, we felt quite the opposite — out of place and, at times, unwelcome. We travel to Croatia every year and have eaten at many restaurants across the country — both big and small — with Istria being one of our favorite food scenes. After being so excited for this visit, it was truly disappointing to have such a poor experience. It was especially disheartening because, despite the food being good, the service completely overshadowed it and left a negative impression. There was also a clear sense of being rushed. We barely had a moment to explore the menu before being pushed to order. One of the highlights we were most excited about was the house tartare, which is a signature dish. Sadly, the presentation felt just as hurried — the staff member preparing it seemed distracted, frequently engaging in side conversations with colleagues during the process, which made the whole experience feel impersonal and flat. We are generous tippers by nature, and even when service is slow or not perfect, we always leave something as a gesture of appreciation. However, this time we genuinely had no desire to tip — the service we received made us feel uncomfortable from the moment we arrived, and the overall atmosphere lacked any sense of warmth or hospitality. After years of anticipation, it’s disappointing to say we left feeling underwhelmed. While the food was decent, the overall service and atmosphere made it hard to enjoy. Perhaps we caught them on an off day, but for a restaurant with such a strong reputation, the lack of care and attention was surprising. We hope to return someday and find the Konoba Daniela that so many rave about — but this visit, unfortunately, missed the mark. - Tartare- good but nothing to rave about. - tagliatelle with truffles - excellent - bolognaise - excellent, not your average bolognaise - truffle and prawn risotto - which came recommend as the "best" dish with truffles- very average. Nothing to harp on about, would have rather gone for tagliatelle with truffles - beef steak Daniela - great! - minestrone soup- average Well done to the chefs. I wish we could say same about the floor staff.
