Были на воскресном ланче. Очень понравилась атмосфера, дизайн, музыка, открытая кухня. Нарядно и празднично. Еда понравилась. Предлагают выбрать один суп из двух вариантов (у нас был картофельный потаж и просто куриный), далее приносят уже все готовое (в наш день было: грибы в масле, жареная картошка с молодым горошком, хлеб, козий крем-сыр, овощи с корешками, пастуший пирог из баранины и свиная ножка, от которой отрешали пару кусочков. Немного не хватило свежести в виде свежих овощей, так как еда была довольно жирная. Также можно выбрать один десерт из трех вариантов. Стоимость воскресного ланча - 5500rsd на человека, с кувером, кофе, водой, 10% чаевыми счет вышел около 15.000. Думаем придти сюда еще раз на ужин на рыбный сет - понравилось, впечатления классные.

Nakon nebrojeno mnogo razlicitih restorana koje smo iskusili svuda u svetu, ovo je prvi negativni komentar koji pisem ali morala sam, jer osecam odgovornost prema svom gradu, ljudima koji bi ovde dosli zavedeni zanimljivim konceptim i lepim prostorom, kao sto sam ja. Drskost, neljubaznost i neprofesionalizam gotovo kompletnog personala ovog restorana je zapanjujuca. Rigidan stav vlasnika da se RESTORAN ZATVARA U 10h, NE KUHINJA, VEC CEO RESTORAN (sto znaci da u 10h morate napustiti prostor, nasli se vi u tom trenutku na 1. Ili na poslednjem sledu set menu-ja), nije naglasen prilikom rezervacije stola, kao ni obaveza da se dodje tacno u 8 jer imate svega dva sata da zavrsite svoj set menu od 5 sledova. Nakon sto smo dosli u pola 9 receno nam je da ce sledovi izlaziti brzim tempom i mi smo to prihvatili uz izvinjenje zbog kasnjenja ali i dalje niko nije znao da u 10 moramo da izadjemo napolje. Hrana u ovom komentaru nije tema, ali bih usput da se osvrnem na raskuvane taljatele, zilavo i prepeceno meso pretenciozno nazvano fine dinning-om. Jedina osoba koja je bila iole upucena u vinsku listu od samog starta je imala nadmen i omalovazavajuci stav, koji smatram nedopustivim u ugostiteljstvu, ali nismo pridavali znacaj jer smo bili dobro raspolozeni i imali zelju da se u petak uvece opustimo i ispricamo sa kumom i najboljim prijateljima u mirnom i finom ambijentu. Neprijatnost je krenula kada nam je za vreme paste (3. sled) u 15 do 10 receno da se restoran zatvara u 10h. Najfinije smo izrazili svoje neprijatno iznenadjenje i misljenje da je to striktan stav i da se na veceru u restoran a narocito na “fine dinning” ne dolazi da bi nas neko zbrzao da sto pre zavrsimo i odemo. U redu je zatvoriti kuhinju ali valjda je normalno jesti svoj obrok svojim tempom bez presije. Konobarica (ili somelijer-sta god da je) reagovala je na primedbe konfrontirajuci se i naredjujuci. Nakon toga su se smenjivali konobari, ocekivala sam da ce bar neko znati da amortizuje problem makar tonom i izvinjenjenjem, te uvazi razocarane goste, ali samo se pojacavala neljubaznost i strogost u njihovom pristupu. Nastavili smo sa vecerom kako bismo zavrsili do isteka vremena 😂 i taman smo se smirili i prihvatili situaciju kakva jeste i zatrazili jos jednu bocu vina (tj. casu po osobi posto nas je 5toro) uz glavno jelo (4. sled) koje je tek stiglo, neki konobar je izasao i rekao drsko da ne moze i da je kraj. Dakle sat i po od dolaska, na pocetku 4. od ukupno 5 sledova fine dinning koncepta, ostali smo bez vina i naredjeno nam je da moramo da zavrsimo veceru i idemo. Jos samo da naglasim da ne bude zabune, niko od nas nije bio ni pripit ni problematican da bi se ovakav tretman tolerisao. Nemam reci za ovaj bezobrazluk! Niko se nije izvinio, samo su dalje nastavljali svadju a vlasnica je sutradan u neposrednoj komunikaciji sa mnom na instagramu naglasila da ona “u svom restoranu ima pravo na to kako ce on da izgleda, koju ponudu ce imati i cime ce se baviti”. Sta reci za kraj nego da je ugostiteljstvo ipak malo kompleksnija stvar od zanimljivog koncepta i lepog prostora.

Staff is nice, nice atmosphere and drinks. Food was basic. I personally didn’t find it good, but my friends liked it. We ordered the meet menu: it was beef tongue, chicken liver and lamb. I would have expected some other options of meat and the portions were small. I left hungry.

Amazing space with a very tasteful redesign of an old hotel lobby, giant windows and brutality elements. Unfortunately the food wasn't that tasty, especially compared to the original Koordinata in Zemun, the portions are tiny and the prices are wild (e.g. 2000 dinars for 1 tablespoon of decent tartar). If I had to describe it with one word, it would be "pretentious". Unbearable elevator music (aka smooth jazz) doesn't help.

As someone whose primary joy in traveling is trying exceptional food and meeting extraordinary people, it is a rare occurrence to come across a place whose raison d’être so clearly transcends the purely commercial—while adding a generous measure of authentic charm on top. From the moment you step inside, you sense a deeper purpose at work, as though every choice—from the menu to the decor—has been made with heartfelt conviction rather than market demands. The owners and staff radiate a passion that goes beyond serving a meal: they aim to share an experience, a story, and a piece of themselves. And in doing so, they create a remarkable feeling of genuine warmth—something few restaurants can truly lay claim to. **First the ambiance** The restaurant is housed in the long abandoned Grand Hotel Belgrade—an icon of “Belgrade moderna" style., combining the flair of the Roaring Twenties with crisp Bauhaus and Art Deco influences. Tall ceilings with stark reinforced concrete beams are masterfully softened with flowing wooden curves and tastefully adorned with rare century-old furnishings. An alpaca-wrapped bar and a range of meticulously curated details exude warmth and sophistication, without a whiff of pretense. So many hidden and unassuming tributes to the building's (and region's) storied past. A hands-down fantastic feat of combining modern elegance with timeless charm. All words aside, the effect that it produces is magical. One does not exactly know how or why, but one finds himself immersed into this beautiful capsule outside of regular time and space. It effortlessly translates your mood to be ready for **THE FOOD** You are presented with a hand-written menu, on what I would call a modern reinterpretation of traditional Serbian and Balkan cuisine, with obvious influence of French culinary techniques and global gourmet touches. But then you come to the food itself. Potato and leek soup. As simple as can be, but when the taste hits your buds and keeps developing, you understand that there is something serious behind. You ask the chef and then you realize that all the ingredients are grown by them, themselves, organically and it suddenly makes sense. Then again - spinach, wild garlic and goat cheese salad - as simple as it gets, but packing more joy and sofistication than what you will get in many $500+ Michelin adorned restaurants. Perfect harmony of taste. Again, they even make the cheese themselves. A flawless, quintessential beef tartare - almost deconstructed, unpolluted by excessive spices, allowing the organic beef to shine through and do its magic. A spectacular chicken pate, with aftertaste developing over 10-15 seconds, like a fine wine. Ancient Serbian dumplings with fresh chees and pollen are to die for. The ultimate comfort food. And all topped off with a genuinely flawless tiramisu - something which is a rarity these days, and a crème brûlée with rosemary done with poetic harmoniousness. So many surprises, so much joy. I expected excellent food, but was humbled by attention to detail, given by the entire **STAFF** There are no dedicated waiters, apart from a maître d’ and a somelier. You will get your food and drinks served by the person making it them. And in some cases it is also the person growing the food. They have placed the tables genereously apart, so there is enough capacity to give the patrons attention. And through conversations with the staff and the owners, you realize how rare and unlikely this combination is - fully dedicated artists giving everything so much more attention than the market demands (or is even aware of), that one cannot help feeling privileged and grateful for having discovered this unique place. It would almost feel vulgar discussing the price, since at this rare level I would accept a considerable bill, but was taken aback by being presented with a bill of about 200 EUR for what I could describe as a poetic feast for 3 people. Try to reserve while it is possible to do so.
