Unfortunately, the food was a big disappointment. The pljeskavica was nothing more than a generic hamburger patty that tasted like it was bought from Lidl — and they charged €18 for it! The so-called ribeye steak was a tough, chewy piece of meat that had nothing to do with real ribeye — and it cost €24. Overall, very poor quality, absolutely not worth the price. Definitely wouldn’t return or recommend.

Još jedan u nizu restorana koji ne ostavlja nikakav poseban dojam. Lokacija nije loša, ali atmosfera gotovo nepostojeća - terasa bez muzike, bez ikakvog ugođaja, okružena mirisima cigareta sa susjednih stolova i automobila koji prolaze tik uz terasu. Jeli smo peku, koju reklamiraju kao “najbolju u gradu”, ali radi se o najobičnijoj peki koju možete pojesti bilo gdje, korektno pripremljena,ali ništa što bi opravdalo velike riječi. Hrana je generalno bila okej, usluga korektna. Cijene, međutim, kao da ste u nekom fine dining lokalu ,100 € za dvoje bez predjela i deserta. Desertna ponuda svedena na jednu opciju: rozata, kao i u većini restorana koji se ne trude previše. Sve u svemu, još jedno prosječno mjesto koje živi od prolaznih turista i velikih obećanja.

We booked this in advance for the Peka (bell slow cooking) and you do need to give c. 24 hours notice if ordering this. The place is about 5 minutes outside the Ploce gate city walls. Nice views of the water from the terrace and a simple interior. The food is really delicious with a lovely char texture. Well worth trying. The staff are friendly and they offer to show you how it is cooked. An enjoyable experience.

Definitely recommend the peka, meat under the bell. Absolutely delicious. You have to reserve 3 hours in advance as the meat is cooked for that long. Great ambiance and staff. The sea view from the terrace is also great.

Best experience we had here. The waitress was truly the kindest. We had the lamb cooked for two people and it was made perfectly. Incredibly juicy and the wine was fresh. Truly authentic and the views were beautiful. We even got to see how ur was made in the back! The picture is attached below.
