This was one of the most atmospheric evenings in Croatia. Konoba Argola is not just a restaurant — it’s a place of power. When you drive up above Podstrana and find yourself surrounded by nature, silence, and breathtaking views — you realize you’ve arrived somewhere truly special. A warm family atmosphere, sincere service, and incredible food. The octopus peka was an absolute masterpiece. Special thanks to the hosts for their heartfelt hospitality and warmth. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants not just a delicious dinner, but a moment of true Croatian spirit.

Konoba Argola had a combination of amazing food and wine, with a stunning location. Set on the hills of Podstrana, we had a sunset dinner with a view of the hills, the sea and the islands. We had the octopus peka and the grilled fish menu, and the sommelier recommend many great wines for the night, which are all directly bought from local producers.

Wat een fantastische ervaring! We hebben enorm genoten bij Konoba Argola. Het eten was vers, smaakvol en typisch Kroatisch. De wijn paste er perfect bij en maakte het diner helemaal af. Wat deze plek echt bijzonder maakt, is de vriendelijke service. Je voelt je meteen welkom. En dan het uitzicht… wauw! Vanaf het terras kijk je uit over de zee en de bergen. Echt een plek om even stil van te worden. Een absolute aanrader als je in de buurt van Podstrana bent. Je moet er even de berg voor op, maar dat is het meer dan waard!

Žao nam je što ranije nismo posjetili ovaj restoran, u zadnji tren smo se odlučili našu godišnjicu provesti ovdje pa nismo uspjeli uhvatili stol s pogledom, ali doći ćemo sigurno opet. Oduševljeni smo sa svime, od predjela do deserta. Sve je bilo preukusno i odlične porcije. Opuštena atmosfera, lagana glazba u pozadini, posebna pohvala za nasmijanu gospođu u bijeloj haljini koja je vodila računa o našem stolu. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was a Great evening. Prices are a little higher than other Restaurants but it is definetly worth it as you get a lot of food and the portions are big. We had the meat platter for two and almost could not finish it. I would definetly reccomend coming here, everything was perfect!

We came here to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary & we’re given the best table in the open air restaurant. When we arrived the views were absolutely breathtaking I felt quite emotional. Everything we’d read about Konoba Argols was true & most definitely surpassed our expectations. From the friendly welcome from this beautiful family restaurant to the food, atmosphere & stunning views of Split & the Podstrana areas below & the islands in the calm Adriatic Ocean. I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Konoba Argola, and I can confidently say it was the best food I have ever had in my life. We enjoyed our meal with the most stunning view overlooking the sea, perfectly timed with a breathtaking sunset. It felt like a dream. Everything was arranged in advance from the reservation to a carefully selected tasting menu and the experience could not have been more seamless.
