Our Story
Bundoo Khan was born out of a passion for authentic Pakistani flavors. After moving from Karachi to Chicago, our founder, Irfan Maniya, recognized the absence of genuine grill options in the local dining scene. Teaming up with his professional chef brother, they dedicated years to perfecting the recipes and techniques that define our menu today. In 2015, Bundoo Khan Express was established, offering “A Taste of Pakistani Tradition” to Chicagoans.

After spending a full, enjoyable day at Raging Waters Park, we visited Bundoo Khan Grill for lunch. Despite our tired bodies, the meal was truly satisfying. I would rate it 5 out of 5 🌟 The atmosphere was pleasant, and the highway handi was incredibly delicious. The puri paratha and naan were also delightful. We were very hungry, and the food met our expectations, Alhamdulillah. While the beef bihari wasn't quite up to our expectations, I would still give it 4 out of 5 stars. Overall, it was an amazing experience with great food.🍲 🍱 🥘

Really poor experience. Their service is probably the worst i have experienced It was a busy day, but they do not have a proper dine in system; it's first come first serve after the order ( i.e you have to order first and get hold of a table yourself; someone else could take the table before you and you have to continue waiting) It took me around 30 minutes to reserve a table. after this poor experience, I hoped that the food would taste good. They come back after 45 minutes or so to tell me they don't have one of the dishes I ordered, and if I liked another order or refund the whole order. Thankfully they gave a refund. Would not come here again

The food was ok. I called ahead for a pickup order. When I arrived, the order was missing an item; I am glad I checked. The person behind the counter that the item will be prepared in 15 minutes. I waited outside in my car. I sent my son to pick up the remaining item, and it was a big mistake. After driving back from Arora to Chicago, I found out that it was still missing one item. Please check your orders before driving away.

The timings listed on their website and the timings on the door had 12PM - 10PM on Thursday. Showed up for lunch at 12:15PM on Thursday. The place was closed with no one in sight.

My daughter and I have been getting into South Asian cuisine, and we heard Bundoo Khan is great. The staff was SO NICE and explained some of their popular options. We got the Bihari Kabob, Chicken Biryani & Garlic Naan. It was all excellent, and we look forward to coming back for more!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at an Indian restaurant and I must say, the food was truly exceptional. The flavors were exquisite and each dish was a delightful explosion of taste. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes that capture the essence of Pakistani cuisine perfectly. As a frequent patron, I have always enjoyed the culinary experience at this establishment. However, I must address a concerning issue that occurred during my recent visit. The cashier, who took our order, displayed unprofessional behavior throughout our interaction. From the moment we approached the counter to place our order until the moment we paid, she seemed disinterested and continuously laughed with the other lady. This lack of professionalism was disappointing and greatly affected our overall dining experience. Additionally, to compound the issue, the cashier made a mistake with our drink orders. She served us the wrong drinks, which further added to our frustration. It is disheartening to see such carelessness and lack of attention to detail. My husband and I truly love this place, but this incident has left us contemplating whether we would choose to dine here again. It is disheartening to think that we would have to hesitate before returning to a place we once held in high regard. The cashier's behavior was disgraceful and it is not an enjoyable experience to have someone with such a negative attitude and unprofessional demeanor greet. I sincerely hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues promptly. Improving the professionalism and customer service at the front line is crucial for maintaining a positive dining experience. As loyal customers, we would be disappointed to see this otherwise wonderful restaurant lose its charm due to such issues.

I have come here often and it is always a great experience. Today we got the chicken karahi, the taste felt like something from back home from streets of Karachi. For $18 I do feel the quantity was a bit small, however it did taste great and still filled us up.

Try their roll. All I can taste and overpowered with the tamrind chutney . No taste of meat or any other ingredients. Whole roll was tasting super sour. Probably will visit again to try other stuff but BIG NO to roll.
