What a wonderful way to spend our 1st evening in Ljubjiana after an overseas flight from the United States. From the moment we were greeted on our arrival at the restaurant, the service was impeccable (Jerhej assisted us). The. excellent dishes, wonderful views and ambiance within the restaurant were a wonderful beginning for our truly memorable time in Slovenia. Sincere appreciation - it’s a fabulous country.

Delicious cocktails made with local honey. I recommend the Floral or the Linden. Easily the nicest nighttime view of the city. There was a live DJ when we were there. Nice ambience and exceptional service. Special shout out to Anže Ivan, hope I got the name right. ;)

Simply put, the food was delicious. Lara, our server, was an amazing host, and was friendly and knowledgeable throughout the dining experience. The prices were affordable, and the view is simply gorgeous. Don't look anywhere further for a great meal in this beautiful city!

Excellent restaurant at the top of the Intercontinental hotel. Has a Michelin recommendation and seems like a top restaurant in Ljubljana. Maks did a great job explaining the menu and recommending the shrimp ceviche and filet mignon, which I tried both, and they were excellent. The beef in particular was really good and very fresh. Would absolutely recommend!

Lovely views from the 21st floor. The food was absolutely delicious (especially the lemon tart dessert - divine!) and the service (thank you, Ivan!) incredibly friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

Grabbed an early dinner here and it was lovely. The staff was very knowledgeable, and friendly! The food was delicious as well. The highlight of my meal though was the dessert which was a Raspberry Mousse on a Almond Liquorice biscuit

Wonderful dinner here, with food that, while not necessarily the most adventurous, fills in a really satisfying way. The top of the intercontinental is naturally beautiful and we loved the spaciousness and warmth of the restaurant. It was rather empty when we came, but our host Ivan was amazing (really the caliber of many Michelin-star establishments). He was funny, helpful, and generous (we were offered welcome drinks, probably for our special occasion). Appetizers were "mozzarella ice cream" (a delightful take on caprese; the sweet juiciness of the tomato mixed with an extremely creamy mozzarella "ice cream" and the wonderful crumble was delicious) and the Istrian Fuzi with truffle (a classic). The pasta sauce was not quite emulsified properly, but it was a delicious dish nonetheless and anyway we "scarpetta"d the rest. Speaking of which, bread was beautiful and Ivan showed us a wonderful mixture of local olive oil and pumpkin seed oil. The main dishes of quail stuffed with goosd liver and quinoa and slow-cooked lamb shoulder were both well-prepared in all elements. Very good, though not as interesting as the mozzarella ice cream! For dessert we had the trio of ice cream - pistacchio was the best. Again I express my appreciation for Ivan, who made our dinner feel personal and special, something very hard to do even at the highest-end restaurants. I also had some wine and rakija (the latter of which almost knocked me over) recommended along with some stories of local customs, which is always appreciated. Total came to about 140€. Without the alcohol or dessert, closer to 100€, which is certainly fair given the quality of food, service, and location.

Nice ambiente above the rooftops of Ljubljana. Superb quality and taste of the food, only one vegetarian main dish. The open kitchen is a highlight. Excellent service from Maks. Try to get a table at the window front.

From greeting to leaving this experience was exceptional. The Michelin designation doesn't affect the price of this venue thankfully fully allowing individuals the opportunity to enjoy truly delicious dishes. The from the kitchen items are generously portioned and very delicious with a cold cucumber soup that cleanses the palate to the three mini desserts. The parsnip cream soup is flavorful and the monkfish hit the spot to end my trip. This menu has something for everyone and deserves a visit.
