Non consiglio il tour guidato, costoso in proporzione a ciò che viene offerto: 15 euro a persona per un breve tour molto raccontato più che vissuto, con i macchinari fermi. La degustazione è da pagare a parte, e paradossalmente ho trovato più interessante guardare il video del proprietario che illustra la produzione (mentre era in corso) mentre mangiavo rispetto al tour in sé. Potendo scegliere di nuovo, farei solo la degustazione (20 euro per 7 diversi formaggi + pane, marmellata e olive).

An absolutely fantastic local shop that started with cheese from a nearby factory. Today, this store spans four levels featuring a range of local products—from deli meats to spirits to sweets and snacks. The selection is dizzying, and so are the prices. It's easy to drop several hundred euros here. But the excellent customer service and high-quality products make it a place you'll definitely want to return to. And of course, right in front of the store, there's a classic convertible—a really cool car that's definitely worth seeing. Edit: May 2025 - We’ve had great experiences at this shop over nearly 10 years of coming back to this island, but this year it kinda feels like the prices are starting to get a little out of hand. Sure, it depends on what you’re buying — but still, we paid 50 euros for three small pieces of cheese. A good example? Salt. In regular grocery stores around where we’re staying this year, a pack costs about 1 euro. Same exact salt in this shop? 4 euros. That’s just over the top, honestly. Kinda kills the vibe for doing any bigger shopping here. But then again, knowing how the tourist game works, they’ll probably still have plenty of customers. That being said, the selection is great. Loads of wine, stronger spirits, tons of cheese from the local dairy right next door, a huge variety of preserves, olives in jars, sweets, and gift ideas. Really a lot to choose from. So yeah — definitely worth popping in and grabbing a few delicious local goodies.

We drove to Pag just to go on this tour and it did not disappoint. The tour was amazing and the tasting that followed made it all the more spectacular. Definitely book ahead for this one and ask for the tasting, too!

Perfekte Touristenabzocke! Schafskäse um 83 Eure das Kilo und mehr. Schade um jede Minute, die man dort verbringt. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen!
