Visiting Ljubljana by myself, I decided to visit this store, as honey is very popular in Slovenia, and would make a great gift for family when I returned home. The staff were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about everything I asked them about (all honey related). There was a wide selection of items to choose from, from various flavours of honey, honey flavoured spirits, and bee pollen. All of which I would have bought if I had space in my suitcase. They also have a good choice of smaller jars, under 100ml and therefore, able to be carried in hand luggage when returning home, which is a great option. All of the honey I sampled, and bought home with me tasted amazing, this is definitely a place I will be visiting when I return.

Who knew there were so many delicious varieties of honey! Lina was fantastic and gave us a nice shop tour and tasting. A must-stop in Ljubljana. Try any of the honey products with blueberry for a real treat.

My daughter visited this shop a couple of years back and raves about the honey. We live in Southern California. Unfortunately customs confiscated her jar. Then my daughter unexpectedly passed away. Another friend of mine went back to Slovenia last month and brought us back a jar. It is so good. It makes me think of the joy she must of had when my daughter first tried it. It brings a smile to my face every time I try it.
