We visited the Croatian Natural History Museum on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised by the lack of crowds. The recently renovated museum feels very modern, with sleek exhibits and a fresh layout that makes it easy to explore. One of the highlights was definitely the space projection—it was truly impressive and captivated both kids and adults alike. However, one thing I personally didn’t enjoy was the overwhelming amount of digital content. It feels like screens are now unavoidable in museums, and this one is no exception. While it might appeal to some, I find that it takes away from the real, tangible experience of the exhibits. Children, in particular, are immediately drawn to the screens like moths to a flame, which can be distracting and a bit frustrating. Overall, the museum is well worth a visit, especially for its updated look and some truly engaging displays—but I wish there was a bit more balance between digital and traditional elements.

Posjetili smo instalaciju Deep space. Bila je zanimljiva svima, a osobito klincima u dvorani, lako su pratili izlaganje demonstratora i trajala je taman toliko da zadrži njihovu pažnju. Muzej je ugodan, zaposlenici ljubazni, ponuda raznolika. Ulaznice nismo morali kupovati unaprijed iako postoji mogućnost on line kupovine. Preporučujem!

The museum is very large and beautiful, especially now after the complete renovation. It has a vast museum collection. We spent nearly two hours in the museum. The guided tour was informative, and the guide was friendly. Deep Space is a fantastic interactive projection and it's recommended that everyone sees it. The projections take place only at specific times according to a pre-announced schedule.
