The place is absolutely magical! Hosts are more then welcoming, they are really dedicated to mission of creating nature friendly and cozy place (with magnificent garden) when you can fully relax and enjoy tasty food (also local cuisine), local beverages, beautiful views and at the same time have a nice conversation with the staff about almost everything. If you would need any kind of assistance I am sure they will do their best to advise and help. I was completely charmed, and I hope to come back there as soon as possible :)

We stoped here for a lunch during cycling trip to Pavličevo sedlo. Food was great and we liked beer very much. Hosts are very kind and garden is beautiful.

Lovely place in the mountain, very quiet. You can taste local food, dinner and breakfast are very good. Boss and Katia are very friendly, I'd love to spend more time in this guesthouse.

I stayed at Guesthouse Planinski Dom Majerhold for 2 nights on my 10 day trip around the exceptionally beautiful country of Slovenia.||Guesthouse Planinski Dom Majerhold was quite simply exceptional in all respects and one of the best places that I stayed at during my trip.||I received a very friendly welcome from Katja on arrival (which included a welcome drink) and she showed me round the accommodation.||Guesthouse Planinski Dom Majerhold is located very close to the border with Austria and there is a stunning view of the Kamnik Savinja Alps. It is a very quiet location other than for the sounds of nature.||My bungalow was small but exceptionally clean and comfortable and provided 2 perfect overnight stays. ||The food, both evening meal and breakfast, were excellent and good value for money. The home cooked local produce and the home brewed beer and home prepared elderflower juice were all very welcome!||The only issue that I encountered was that the WiFi was slow and prone to dropping out. This would not necessarily have caused me a problem but it did prove difficult to amend my train bookings for my journey home from Ljubljana and across Europe to London.||Guesthouse Planinski Dom Majerhold is highly recommended for an overnight stay in this part of Slovenia.||Thank you so much Katja for your hospitality during my stay!

Skorajna vrhu Pavličevega sedla - dostopz Avstrije ali Slovenije. Za prenočitev hiške kot iz pravljice. Odlična hrana in prijazna lastnika. Izhodišna točka za obisk gora ali zgolj sprehodi po razglednih točkah.

Excellent stay at Katja’s and family guesthouse. The whole experience has been out of this world, just what we were looking for: nice views, local food and culture. I finally tried tripe made by Katja’s father!!! The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating, not only my food asks :) Katja’s mum made me the traditional desert and I truly enjoyed all the dishes on the menu! Very close to Logarska dolina, where you can find numerous hikes.

Gyönyörű helyen található, kedves és segítőkész vendéglátók. Reggeli és vacsora is kérhető. A reggeli bőséges, sokféle étel van kirakva. Különálló faházak, fűteni villanyradiátorral lehet. Az ágy nagyon kényelmes. Ajánlom!
