An Unforgettable Truffle Hunting Adventure in Velebit! Our truffle hunting experience with Truffle Hunting Velebi was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The adventure begins at their family farm (OPG), where we were warmly welcomed with a delicious homemade welcome drink, setting the tone for a friendly and relaxed day. From there, we headed into the stunning nature of the Velebit mountains, guided by passionate hosts and their incredible truffle-hunting dogs. Watching the dogs in action was both fun and fascinating, and we learned so much about the local truffles and the surrounding ecosystem. After the hunt, we returned to the farm for a tasting of fresh, locally prepared truffle specialties. Everything was organic, homemade, and bursting with flavor. This is not just a tourist activity – it’s a genuine connection to nature, tradition, and Croatian rural life.
