People from Trieste recommended us to go there. The place is beautiful but the food was awful. Maybe they only treat Slovenians and Italians well but definitely not people who they consider tourists. The homemade pasta was too soft and the truffel (in the season) was grated in the kitchen and had little taste whereas other diners on the table next to us had the trauffel grated in front of them by the water in a more proper style. They charged us 16 euros for this special pasta dish that appeared as 13.5 euros on the menu + 1 euro cause it was home made. The risotto was soft and greasy They served a glass of red wine that costs 7 euros from a bottle in a normal fridge temperture. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. It was a real disappointment for our last day in Slovenia. Our stomach still aches from the meal. It is sad to see that people restaurants who are considered to be professional by some treat other so badly.
