This pečenjara offers an excellent selection of traditional spit-roasted meats, including lamb, pork, and chicken. The aroma alone is enough to tempt you in. We opted for takeaway, as there’s no seating provided—it’s clearly designed for customers to collect and enjoy the food at home or on the go. The simplicity of the place reflects its purpose: quality food without unnecessary frills. The meat was absolutely delicious—tender, juicy, and full of flavour, especially the lamb, which had that perfect balance of crispy skin and soft interior. We appreciated that the staff offered to cut the chicken into portions, making it easier to serve and share. As a side, we picked up a half-kilogram of baked potatoes, which were also well-seasoned and nicely packed. Packaging was tidy and practical, keeping the food warm and easy to transport. While this isn’t a fancy venue, the quality of the food speaks for itself. It’s an ideal option for a family meal, picnic, or beach outing. We’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Croatian roast meats. A strong 5 out of 5 for taste, convenience, and value.

The food was absolutely top-notch — perfectly roasted, tender, and full of flavor. You can tell it's made with real skill and care. The staff were polite and everything went smoothly during my visit. I did notice some reviews mentioning stomach issues, which might be a mix of bad luck and the need for a bit more attention to sanitation, but personally I had no problems at all. Prices are what you’d expect for the season, and I felt the portion size was very fair for what I paid. Overall, a great experience and I’d gladly come back.

Abzocke! 1 kg schwein 30 euro. Davon die hälfte ungenießbar, knochen ind lederhaut. Eine frechheit. Für 25 euro bekommt man einen rindersteak im Restaurant. Nicht schlechtes schwein in der imbisbude. Finger weg ! ..... und die ganze familie die ganze nacht durchfall vom feinsten. Also guten Appetit!

Hallo. Wir waren gestern dort und waren total enttäuscht, sah eigentlich sehr urig aus und andere Rezessionen haben wohl bessere Erfahrungen gemacht. Wir werden da jdfalls nicht wieder hingehen. Wir haben für 750 gramm Lamm und Schwein 48€ bezahlt obwohl ganz andere Preise angeben waren. Das Fleisch war trocken, die Haut labbrig und lauwarm bis kalt. Meine Frau hat sich daran den Magen verdorben. Sind wirklich total enttäuscht, haben und extra darauf gefreut und sind dann total über den Tisch gezogen worden. Überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen.
