That said, a couple of caveats are worth mentioning: dining outdoors can be rather challenging due to the steady stream of passersby - some of whom are in unfortunate circumstances and may attempt to sell items or ask for assistance. This does interrupt the otherwise laid-back atmosphere. Food-wise, the dishes won’t shock or amaze - but to be fair, the venue openly bills itself as a “Mexican canteen”, and it lives up to that humble promise. One delightful highlight: the churros, which were genuinely delicious. Service is commendable - courteous, attentive, and welcoming, which elevates the experience. If you’re in the area and looking for something off the beaten path, it’s certainly worth a try.

Der Service war sehr gut. Der Kellner hat unsere Fragen geduldig beantwortet. Besonders lecker war der hausgemachte Mango-Eistee. Aber auch das Essen war hervorragend. Die Portionen sind sehr groß, man sollte also Hunger mitbringen.

Hrana izuzetna. Jedan od najboljih restorana u gradu. Osoblje uvek nasmejano, ljubazno i spremno da pomogne u odabiru jela i pića. Takođe ima i veliki asortiman izuzetno kvalitetnih vina. Dovoljno je da se samo opustite i čujete preporuke koje vam konobari daju. Lep provod je zagarantovan.

Excellent place. I ordered the ribs and returned on the third day to eat them again. But more than anything, I found the service from Danilo, the head waiter who was covering the entire restaurant that night, incredible! It was heroic.

I had lunch here today and it was fantastic. I chose the Mexican Salad- incredibly delicious and filling. Our server was friendly, helpful and attentive as well. I would absolutely recommend Zapata. Thank you!! 👏🏻
