Authentic Mexican stuff. Great place, great vibes and the tacos are incredible. Simple menu and the dishes are very tasty. Also cocktails were really good, to be consumed in a nice and chill neighborhood. We'll be back soon!

as authentic taqueria as it gets in this part of the world. there's both traditional tacos with carnitas and campechano, but also a few veg and fish/shrimp options. tacos are generally quite delicious, though the campechano was on a salty and greasy side, and the shrimp diablo was mucho diablo. one thing that I miss in the tacos here is the little amount of fresh coriander they add...misses out on the freshness factor so important for tacos. the nachos el patron is quite good and is a large portion. personally, would replace the plain beans with refried beans to make it more interesting. with their new location, there's plenty of outdoor seating. it's self-service and the food comes out pretty fast.

A taco is only as good as its salsas and here lies my disappointment with this restaurant. Terribly weak salsa selection and the carnitas barely had any flavor to make up for it. I left this place feeling full and yet dissatisfied.

I came here twice in my 10 days stay in Ljubljana. They make the best horchata- I would happily drink buckets of that stuff. Nice authentic tasting tacos but loved their nachos. I ordered without beans and they gave me complimentary chorizo and nacho cheese. It was delicious. Unfortunately, couldn't finish it all but super tasty. Great vibe as well.

Literally the first place in Europe that has delicious, affordable food. Service is amazing. As someone with sensory issues, my husband asked if they could turn the music down and they were more than happy to. Made my experience of dining in so much more enjoyable. The hot sauces were delicious and actually had spice to them. All the meat had such delicious flavour to them. The beefy chunk one was a bit hard to chew but still enjoyable to eat. Definitely recommend coming here!!

Looking at my profile I am notoriously hard on restaurants. This is the first 5 star in a long time. Have been in Europe for 6 weeks now and this is the best food for taste, size and value for money. I cannot say enough good things about it. Huge amounts of filling, generous meat portions, brilliant flavours, well cooked, arrived hot, large portions and delicious sauces. Prices make you think you are not in Europe and so do the staff! The staff are lovely! My wife is disabled and the chairs outside were in the sun, the music inside was very loud and overwhelming for her and when asked to turn it down so we could sit inside they were more than happy to help! Good on you guys! This is the best Mexican we have both ever eaten out and will be back here for dinner tonight. Give these guys support for being a great business!

Leicht abseits gelegen in der Altstadt von Ljubljana - köstliche Tacos, großzügig befüllt, klassisch mexikanische Drinks, schnelle Zubereitung. Ich wünschte in Wien gäbe es so einen Laden - wobei, dann wäre ich vermutlich pleite. Gerne wieder! :) Bis zum nächsten Mal!
