Founded in 1880, Restaurant Sesame resides in a quaint green oasis just a short walk from the Old Town, located on a street named after the renowned poet Dante Alighieri. The restaurant, part of a two-hundred-year-old stone house, is adorned with lush greenery and details that narrate the story of Dubrovnik—evident in the old photographs and unique decor that hint at the city’s rich past.

The restaurant is located along an elegant staircase. At night, the trees are illuminated with beautiful colored lights. We enjoyed a delicious dinner accompanied by beautiful piano music. Our waiter was very professional and attentive. Not only did he care about our dishes, he also promptly cleared the table, allowing us to fully enjoy our meal. Being able to enjoy a quiet, elegant, and romantic dinner outside of Dubronik's bustling Old Town was truly a supreme pleasure. Highly recommended!

We stumbled upon this place by chance and instantly loved the cute garden terrace. The food was delicious, the staff incredibly kind and attentive, and the live piano music made the evening feel magical. A true hidden gem, peaceful, tasty, and full of charm. Highly recommend! 🌿🍽️🎹

What a lovely dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The meat was perfectly cooked, and the vegetarian options were also amazing. 🍽️ Special shoutout to our waiter Domagoj, he was fantastic! Super friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Service like that really makes a difference. 🙌🏼 The atmosphere is cozy and calm, just a little away from the tourist crowds, which made it even more enjoyable. Ideal for a relaxed evening dinner. 🫶🏼✨

Hledali jsme restauraci mimo ruch lidí a našli jsme. Sice vyšší ceny, ale milá obsluha, příjemné prostředí, oáza klidu. Až budeme příště v Dubrovníku stavíme se znovu.

Had restaurant recommended however was disappointed. For what they serve they are overpriced. Garpacio was ok, Lemoncello spritz little flavor and more ice than Lemoncelloand the sea bass was dry and very small which left me hungry leaving the restaurant. Waitress kept on using my chair for her quick turns and was annoyed by getting bumped entire time. Was average food, overpriced and disappointed. Won't return

Came here this evening. Originally there was a mix up with my food due to a misunderstanding but staff were quick to rectify this. I had the asparagus risotto which was very nice. They had a live pianist which provided a lovely atmosphere.
