Das Essen war geschmacklich in Ordnung, solide, wenn auch nicht außergewöhnlich. Leider wurde unser Gesamterlebnis durch das Verhalten des Personals getrübt: Direkt nach dem Essen wurden wir in einer unangemessen direkten Weise zur Bezahlung aufgefordert – offenbar, um unseren Tisch so schnell wie möglich für neue Gäste freizumachen. Dieses Vorgehen empfanden wir als unhöflich und unpassend, besonders in einem Restaurant, das einen gewissen Anspruch vermittelt. Gastfreundschaft endet nicht mit dem letzten Bissen – hier gibt es klar Verbesserungspotenzial im Umgang mit den Gästen.

Majority of the food was great, however service was not good. We ordered two mojitos with very different tastes, one was watery and had a disappointing taste. We told the waiter politely that it tasted quite different and all they did was add extra alcohol. Not all of the food came with the correct sides that were stated on the menu. Again most of the food was very good but service was poor as the wait staff appeared rude. Food was reasonably priced for Dubrovnik but drinks were very overpriced.

Sweet cevap was amazing. Beef tartar was also very good. Some dishes were unworthy of a Michelin restaurant, like the Aubergine by edina and Cevapi. Some foods in the Slow Cooked section required prior notice. I would really like to have tried them. I suggest you ask for the menu in advance. Honorable mention for the waiter named Nemanja. He was kind, accommodative and cheerful. He probably was the best thing we noted about this restaurant. Give this guy a raise

Wow, this was one of our favorite meals in all of Croatia. The beef stew was the stand out for me - and loved soaking it up with the bread! Staff was kind and helpful, and all of the food was delicious. I actually wish we had sat inside. Outside was a bit stuffy bc of the small alley, and I thought that the decor inside was beautiful when I used the restroom. Noted a halal certificate when I went inside as well.

I am not kidding when I say this was the best restaurant I went to during my trip to Dubrovnik. It is no wonder this restaurant is one of the most recommended, and it is always PACKED. We ordered roasted pepper with kajmak, honey and walnuts. A truly amazing combination of sweet, savoury, and nutty flavours. We then ordered the Ćevapi, which are absolutely mouthwatering and delicious beyond words. I recommend making small bites with the sides that come with it and pita bread. The salad was amazing, very refreshing and really compliments the food we had. Lastly, the kind waiter recommended a delicious lamb stew. I’m personally a HUGE fan of lamb AND stews, so the combination was absolutely delicious and reminded me of home. Honestly the food was out of this world, I can’t recommend this place enough. It is also situated in the old town of Dubrovnik, which creates an absolutely beautiful atmosphere to the food experience. Please go to this place and book well in advance! Thank you to the amazing staff for their wonderful service. I will make sure to come back here again!!

The food was good, but honestly not as amazing as I expected for a place with Michelin stars. The service was super slow even with a reservation, we waited 30 minutes to be seated and the food took a long time to arrive. The staff was kind, which we appreciated, but the whole vibe felt very rushed and quite loud which made it hard to relax and enjoy the meal. Overall, I think it’s a bit overrated 🙈
