I use Google Map frequently and almost always with good result. But here is a prime example of how it can be seriously misleading. ||Assume that you approach Zaton, which is north of Dubrovnik, from the north (e.g. Split). As you enter Zaton, Google directs you to leave the main coastal road (Jadranska Magistrala) and make a sharp left turn into Bulet road. This is a winding, narrow road that has you praying you will not meet another car. But after several kilometers you end up back on the main coastal road--after a dangerous right turn. And there it is: Hotel Babilon! Just take a very close look at the route Google Maps suggests and you will realize the futility, and danger, of getting into Bulet road.||I was told that the hotel has tried to fix this with Google, but to no avail.||Otherwise, the hotel is a decent, no-frills hotel with cheerful staff. Breakfast is a bit sparce, but adequate as a start of the day. Their cappuccino is good.||It's good to have password protection of WiFi, but the signal strength is not great.

Stayed at Hotel Babilion for 1 week. The service was lovely and I highly recommend. Just a 15 minute drive from Dubrovnik and parking free if you have a room and let them know. Staff were very helpful. The price of the food is less than your usually venue in Croatia but the quality of the meals is amazing. I had one of the best Chicken Pasta dishes on my entire life and the chef really put his heart into the food. Ignore all reviews from a year ago as there had been new ownership and renovations. Only negative was the lack of variety with the breakfast buffet in the morning but there was still plenty of food.

Villa Babilon was in general a nice place to stay, very nice and friendly staff! One thing we missed badly was some hooks to hang our towels or clothes, now they were everywhere and that was not nice. But this was the only thing we missed, all the other things were good.

I went here for a week with my partner. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Overall the experience was ok. The food which you order from the menu is very good, but the buffet breakfast with the room is bad. There was only like white bread and couple fruits. The staff made an exception with us and gave tasty omelettes with the breakfast, thanks for that! The rooms are nice, toilets and showers usable and very powerful a/c. One minus the cleaner doesnt clean rooms for some reason, you have to take out the garbage etc. Pool and sunbathing area is calm and nice i liked that. Only downside close to a busy road. Location for the hotel is kinda far away from dubrovnik but the buses seem to go often, i had a rental car. There is 2 little supermarkets like 2 minute walk away. I would say this is a good place for staying a shorter period of time, other customers were here for like 1-2 days tops.

Stayed for 4 days beginning of April, very pleased with the apartment, looked new and very clean, had everything we needed.|Parking just in front of the apartment.|The breakfast was delicious. |Bus stop is just few meters away so we didn't need to drive to Dubrovnik.
