Fabulous hotel,staff very nice,rooms large,modern,extremely clean,brecfast one of the best we have had,pool and pool bar and restaurant excellent,will definitely be visiting again,only ten minutes in uber to the old town and other valamar hotels close by also stunning

Just back and loved our trip. I did a lot of online research before we left, and this hotel had the best reviews. And it did not disappoint. |Great hotel for families. Went with 14 year old and 10 year old. My kids were a bit old for Maro world but they liked the games room. Younger kids would be in their element - best kids facility i have seen in a hotel. Night time programme was brill. |Rooms are great - comfy beds. TV that has chromecast.|We had a balcony and sea view. Balcony is great and was happy i had paid more for sea view. |We went to Coral beach club every day for swims - no need to hire bed, just swim off rocks. |Bus into dubrovnik straightforward to get - can get crowded. Taxi €28. Can pay with card on bus.|Breakfast buffet was great - kids loved it and lots of options. Dinner was good too. Im GF and had lots of options. Changed every night. Even sushi one night!!|Pool great - always got a bed no matter what time of day it was. Slides good too. |We used indoor pool in lacroma too to get out of sun and it was a nice break - easy to walk over there and access. |Dubrovnik is expensive - snacks in local shops are not cheap but hotel good value for money. |Overall, delighted with our stay - would love to go back.

We just stayed at this resort with our 11- and 12-year-old, and overall, it was a mixed experience.||On the positive side, the rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed our time at the beach club — while pricey, the food there was good, and the atmosphere was lively (though be prepared for loud country music, which may not be everyone’s taste). The live music at night was a nice touch. ||That said, if you are looking for a truly luxurious or relaxing getaway, this may not be the right fit. The property was very family-oriented, with amenities and common areas often overrun by toddlers and small children. Even my preteens felt overwhelmed and weren’t able to fully enjoy spaces like the game room or pools, and breakfast was chaotic.||The dining area in the main resort was also disappointing, with underwhelming food and an off-putting smell that impacted our overall dining experience. Additionally, several areas of the resort did not quite match the promotional photos, which was a letdown.||Overall, this resort might offer decent value for families with young kids, but for those seeking a luxurious or peaceful stay, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Bonjour, nous avons passé quelques jours dans cet hôtel. Bel hôtel, très propre, belles chambres spacieuses. Buffets variés et soignés. Personnel très aimable et toujours prêt à aider. Pour terminer, très bonne situation (à 50m arrêt de bus vers Dubrovnik). Bref nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

We love the hotel, facilities, Maro World (best kids club we’ve been to). Was perfect for my young family and we had fun with our friends and orher families here. Ante has been an amazing fitness coach at the gym - killed it with my workout! Please go find him out if you are visiting the gym!

The staff couldn't have been more helpful especially Mario and the rest of the pool side restaurant staff who really took care of us and made us all feel so welcome. Great facilities and kids club as well.

Fantastic Family Stay at Valamar Tirena – Special Thanks to Jerko Letunić! If you're planning a family holiday in Dubrovnik, I can't recommend Hotel Valamar Tirena enough. We had an incredible experience here – not just because of the fantastic amenities, but also thanks to the genuinely helpful and welcoming team. A special shoutout goes to Jerko Letunić, who was an absolute gem throughout our stay. He was like a walking encyclopedia! I asked him endless questions – from the best local restaurants, to which attractions were truly worth our time, to which boat tours were actually worth stepping on board. Jerko always had the right answer, and his recommendations never missed. His help added a whole extra layer of comfort and ease to our trip. Now, onto the highlights of the hotel itself: 1. A Hit With the Kids! The pool was a huge success with my boys – complete with slides and a shallow area for the littlest swimmers. It was safe, fun, and perfect for cooling off in the afternoon. 2. Mario World = Kid Paradise This facility is a dream come true for children. Think games, games, and more games. It’s an entire world built for fun – and it truly lives up to the hype. 3. Easy Beach Access + Discounts The beach is just a short walk away, and Tirena guests get a 60% discount on beach lounge rentals (just remember to bring your coupon!). The sea isn’t too deep near the shore, which makes it great for younger kids. There's also a floating obstacle course – a total blast for both older kids and adults alike. 4. Family-Friendly Dining The on-site restaurant caters really well to families, with plenty of kid-friendly meal options. And don’t miss the gelato surprise in the evenings – a sweet bonus the little ones looked forward to every night. 5. Access to Extra Amenities You're also allowed to use the Valamar Lacroma facilities nearby – including their pools, sauna, spa, and wellness center. We checked – it’s true, and totally worth it. 6. Close to the Old City Dubrovnik’s Old City is just a quick 15-minute bus ride away. We took the cable car (highly recommend), and on Tuesdays and Thursdays, they even offer free face painting for kids at the top station – a fun little surprise!

Nevjerojatna ljubaznost,susretljivost,izvrsna hrana za bebe(u pravom smislu ako ste došli sa malom bebom i pazite na smjernice WHO gdje ćete moći svaki dan izabrati dobar izbor za ručak,večeru ali i izvan vremena se moze uzeti obrok za bebe) ali i one starije,čistoća i urednost hotela je ono što će nas vratiti ponovno u Dubrovnik. Hotel koji opravdava vrijednost za dobivenu uslugu. Preporuka za obitelji sa djecom ali i samce jer ne vlada kaos od nekontrolirane djece kao u drugim hotelima. Opuštena i mirna atmosfera. Maro world koji je u jednom sklopu (za razliku od drugih Maro hotela),sav sadržaj od onih najmlađih do najstarijih na jednom mjestu na par etaža,uredni bazeni sa super ponudom od hrane i pića za goste,izrazito ljubazni konobari u Oliva Grill-u kao i njihov menađer kojeg smo imali i priliku osobno upoznati.
