We recently spent our vacation at this absolutely stunning hotel, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. Located on a picturesque peninsula, the hotel offers breathtaking panoramic views of the sea from three sides – it’s like being surrounded by the ocean. The location alone is simply sensational and feels like a hidden paradise. The hotel offers a private parking area exclusively for guests – very convenient and secure. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and very well-equipped. The rooms are modern, stylish, and extremely comfortable – every detail has been thoughtfully considered. We immediately felt at home. The entire property is impeccably maintained and offers everything one could wish for during a relaxing or active holiday. The breakfast buffet is generous, fresh, and offers a wide variety of options to suit every taste – and it’s served until 11 a.m., which is fantastic for a leisurely start to the day. The evening buffet is equally impressive: varied, refined, and truly delicious. However, the dinner time from 7 to 9 p.m. felt a bit short, and it would be nice if it started earlier. We also missed the exquisite dinner that used to be served at the beach restaurant – this was always a highlight in previous years. While the beach restaurant now hosts evening events, we hope the regular dinner service might return in the future. There are countless ways to spend your day: two great pools, stand-up paddle boards (SUPs) for rent, and wonderful turquoise bays right around the hotel that are perfect for swimming and snorkeling in crystal-clear water. For biking enthusiasts, this place is a dream – there are fantastic mountain biking trails nearby. E-bikes and regular bikes can be rented easily, and mountain bikes are even delivered directly to the hotel, so you can hit the trail first thing in the morning. The nearby town of Rab is easily accessible, either by car or via a charming boat taxi. The staff at the hotel are exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive – they made our stay even more enjoyable. As a family, we felt truly welcomed and relaxed from the moment we arrived. The hotel still feels like a bit of a secret spot – not overcrowded, yet offering top-notch service and facilities. All in all, it was a wonderful holiday. We absolutely loved it here and are already looking forward to coming back. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team!

Recenzija s ljetovanja – 5 zvjezdica i osmijeh za ponijeti kući! 😄☀️🍹 Ako tražite mjesto gdje vas i jastuk dočeka složen s ljubavlju, a jutro počne s osmijehom umjesto budilice – onda ste na pravom mjestu! Krenimo redom – gospođa Rajka, spremačica sobe, nije samo uredna i pedantna, ona je institucija! Mislim da bi mogla složiti krevet i sa zavezanima očima, a da na jastuku ne ostane ni trun prašine. Uvijek nasmiješena, kao da je upravo došla iz wellness centra, a ne iz soba koje blistaju kao pod u operacijskoj sali! Kad ogladnite – a ogladnite, jer je zrak ovdje čist kao savjest gospođe Rajke – čekaju vas kuhari, čije kuhinje mirišu bolje od bakine nedjeljne juhe. Posebna pohvala ide Martini i Josipu, koji nisu samo majstori kuhinje, nego i profesionalci u širenju dobrog raspoloženja. Toliko su srdačni da vas pozdrave kao da ste rođak kojeg dugo nisu vidjeli – i onda vam još naprave pun tanjur nečega što izgleda kao s reklame, a ima okus boljeg djetinjstva! A doručak? Prava mala predstava! Ryan i Adrijan s tolikom pažnjom i osmijehom pripremaju jaja i omlete da imate osjećaj kao da ih peku baš za vas – svaki put savršeno, toplo, i točno onako kako volite. Na ulazu vas dočekuje Davor – prvi osmijeh, prva čaša vina, i prvi dojam koji odmah kaže: “Ovdje ste dobrodošli.” S elegancijom sommeliera i toplinom starog prijatelja, uvijek zna što ponuditi, i nikad ne griješi s izborom. Za vrijeme obroka Maja diskretno i s osmijehom uslužuje, odnosi tanjure prije nego što ih vi stignete primijetiti, a sve s onom lakoćom koju imaju samo oni koji svoj posao rade s ljubavlju. A kad dođe vrijeme za desert – tu nastupa Elena. Slatka čuda koja izlaze iz njezine kuhinje nisu samo kolači, to su iskustva. Ne znaš trebaš li ih prvo slikati, pojesti ili zapljeskati. Mi smo radili sve troje. I za kraj, šlag na plaži – točnije koktel majstor Borče. Taj čovjek ne pravi koktele, on stvara mala umjetnička djela u čaši! Da ne pričamo o svježe cijeđenom soku od naranče – to nije piće, to je terapija. Svaki put kad sam došao do njegovog bara, izašao sam s osmijehom i vitaminima! A kad se dan bliži kraju, i poželite još jednu čašu vina ili samo kanticu s ledom – tu su David i Sara na lobby baru, uvijek ljubazni, brzi i nasmijani, kao da točno znaju što vam treba prije nego što to izgovorite. Sve u svemu – ako želite mjesto gdje ljudi rade srcem, gdje je čisto kao suza, gdje se jede kao u bajci, pije kao na Karibima i dočekuje kao da ste VIP gost u vlastitoj priči… ne tražite dalje. Mi se sigurno vraćamo. I šaljemo pozdrave cijeloj ekipi – a posebno Rajki, Martini, Josipu, Borčetu, Davoru, Maji, Eleni, Ryanu, Adrijanu, Davidu i Sari! ❤️

Ovo je to mjesto! 🛏️ Rajka – sobarica s osmijehom i preciznošću kirurga. 👨🍳 Martina i Josip – kuhari koji hrane i srce i želudac. 🍳 Ryan i Adrijan – jutarnji heroji s tavom u ruci, jaja i omleti za poželjeti. 🍷 Davor – uvijek spreman dočekati s čašom vina i toplom dobrodošlicom. 😊 Maja – diskretna, brza, srdačna… usluga na vrhuncu. 🍰 Elena – deserti koje fotkaš, pojedeš i sanjaš. 🍸 Borče – kokteli za pamćenje, sokovi kao terapija. 🌙 David i Sara – večernja smjena na lobby baru, za savršen završetak dana. Mjesto gdje se jede kao u bajci, spava kao u filmu, a vraća kao kući. ❤️

Lokacija hotela je na rajskoj poziciji u prirodnom hladu uz more. Plaže su na stjenama sa blagim ulazom, okružene ležaljkama i restoranom na plaži sve u hladu borove šume koja je duž cijele šetnice što je super ako dodjete sa pesekom tako da im nije prevruce. Pseća plaza je na stjenama i nije bas dobra za male pse. Djelatnici hotel su jako ljubazni. Masaze su super. Svakako cemo se vratiti.

Lokacija hotela savršena, nekoliko jako lijepih mjesta za kupanje oko hotela, lijepa priroda, uz hotel dva super bazena.. sobe čiste i uredne, a hrana odlična! Osoblje uvijek uslužno i nasmijano. Svaka preporuka za obitelji s djecom kao i za parove. Vraćamo se opet :)

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Valamar Carolina auf Rab war einfach unvergesslich. Von Anfang an haben wir uns unglaublich willkommen gefühlt. Was diesen Urlaub wirklich besonders gemacht hat, war die herzliche und aufrichtige Freundlichkeit des gesamten Personals, besonders im Umgang mit unseren beiden Kindern. Die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter haben sich nicht nur bemüht, sondern echte Freude daran gezeigt, unsere Kinder glücklich zu sehen. Unsere kleine Tochter wurde liebevoll auf den Arm genommen, herumgetragen und zum Lächeln gebracht. Mit unserer großen Tochter haben sie jedes Mal beim Sehen abgeklatscht und am Tisch mit ihr gespielt. Diese persönliche Zuwendung war für uns als Eltern wirklich berührend und hat den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Auch das Essen war hervorragend. Die Auswahl war groß, alles frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich auf sehr hohem Niveau. Besonders schön war, dass auch für Kinder viele passende und leckere Gerichte dabei waren. Das Personal im Restaurant war aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und immer mit einem Lächeln zur Stelle. Unser Zimmer war großzügig, stilvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Besonders schön war der Blick auf das Meer, den wir jeden Morgen genießen durften. Die tägliche Reinigung war gründlich und zuverlässig. Die beiden Pools waren ideal. Einer war ruhig mit Blick auf das Meer, perfekt zum Entspannen. Der andere war lebendig und ideal für Familien. Alles war gepflegt und bestens organisiert, Handtücher und Liegen waren immer verfügbar. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und danken dem gesamten Team für diese wundervolle Zeit. Besonders als Familie mit kleinen Kindern war es einer der schönsten Urlaube, die wir je hatten. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder.

Ein mittlerweile familienfreundlich geführtes Hotel welche alle Voraussetzungen erfüllt. Check In erfolgte sehr unkompliziert und Zimmer war schon gleich beziehbar. Wir verbrachten 3 Nächte in einer Villa mit Privatpool. Das Hotel liegt in einer wunderbaren Bucht. Auch die Liegen sind nicht überteuert. Frühstück und Abendessen erfüllen den Valamar Standard. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einziger Kritikpunkt die ständigen Kassenbons die man unterzeichnen muss. Man könnte das mittlerweile wesentlich elektronisch vereinfachen.

Schönes Hotel mit fantastischer Lage. Super freundliches Personal. Alles in allem Top. Zwei kleine Kritikpunkte: Getränke beim Abendessen leider relativ teuer - z.B. 0,25l Pepsi für 4,10€. Obst beim Buffet (besonders Wassermelone) sollte eine bessere Qualität haben (blasse Melonen).

We have been coming to this hotel for three years now and have had only positive experiences. The rooms and the hotel in general are immaculately clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's nice to see familiar faces among the staff and among the many returning guests. It makes you feel like you are coming home.|The food is varied, fresh and plentiful. The breakfast is the best of any similar hotel we have stayed in so far. The food is generally like home-cooked, and the pastries are varied and delicious. Our only comment is that, at this price, the breakfast fruit juices could perhaps be freshly squeezed.|The hotel is under new management from this year. We have noticed a few changes, comoared to the previous years but the quality of service has remained above average, as usual at Valamar. ||Thank you Carolina staff, we will definitely return next year.
