This was our third time at the Carolina, and the umpteenth time at a Valamar hotel. We must say that it is beyond dispute that the best service is found here in Croatia. When we arrive on the island of Rab, a sense of homely calmness overtakes us. The Hotel itself and its surroundings are beyond dispute the most optimal. The well-kept green lawn, the trees, the cicadas, the turquoise sea. The pool is not crowded either, a perfect place to relax. Last but not least, the dog-friendly policy is also impeccable, and the villas offer a cloudless vacation! The booking, check-in and handling of affairs are extremely correct and flexible. The staff is always kind and extremely helpful. We have no complaints. We recommend the Carolina Hotel to everyone. Finally, I would like to highlight one negative impression: the villas could use a little sprucing up. Some of them have a slightly musty smell. I think this could be remedied cost-effectively.

Del poletnih počitnic smo preživeli v Villi Carolina in se imeli čudovito. Vila ima bazen Velika pohvala osebju, vsi so izjemno prijazni in profesionalni ... zagotovo se bomo vrnili. Hotel je na odlični lokaciji, vreden obiska.

Very poor breakfast and dinner! Small room! Very poor price-performance ratio! The Oliva restaurant has a mediocre selection, you'll get bored in three days unless you want to eat pizza all the time. I don't recommend it, I've been to much better places in Croatia!

Скажу что на ужин вы будете выезжать в город чтобы покушать. В отеле нет ничего вкусного что бы вы хотели получить на ужин. Креветки/море продукты/ стейки - этого всего нет от слова совсем. По территории все в полном порядке. Но развлечения/ диско или же диджей, это и близко нет. За эти деньги ожидали получить большего.

Wir hatten ein Swim-Up-Zimmer mit Meerblick im Valamar Carolina Hotel & Villas und waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet und sauber, mit direktem Zugang zum Pool und traumhaftem Blick aufs Meer. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt – direkt am Meer mit super Meerzugang. Besonders schön waren der Infinity-Pool mit der tollen Aussicht und der kleinere, ruhigere Pool. Das Essen war sowohl beim Frühstück als auch beim Abendessen sehr gut, und es gab eine große Auswahl. Das Personal war immer freundlich und bemüht, auch wenn es zu Stoßzeiten manchmal etwas Wartezeit gab. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt: Der Swim-Up-Pool könnte in den Ecken etwas gründlicher gereinigt werden, da dort teilweise schwarze Flecken an den Fugen waren. Außerdem hing in unserem Zimmer bei Villa 9 der Warmwasserspeicher, der auch Villa 8 und 10 versorgt, und manchmal begann dieser nachts zu laden, was man deutlich gehört hat und wodurch wir hin und wieder aufgewacht sind. Insgesamt können wir das Hotel aber auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

By far, this is the best hotel we've stayed in on the island of Rab. I highly recommend it to those who appreciate tranquility, a cultured landscape, and delicious Croatian cuisine. Furthermore, the hotel boasts interesting modernist, minimalist architecture that blends seamlessly into the landscape. The icing on the cake is the swimming pool with its breathtaking view of the bay.

Skvele místo v piniovem háji, takže i počas sezóny dychatelno. 2 bazény a pozvolny vstup do more hned u hotelu. Pratelsky personál, výborná strava. Dovolenou jsme si skvele uzili a určite doporucuji.
