I booked this hotel as the ones in the centre seemed a little tired. The rooms were clean, tidy and minimalist, white beach lodge style. The hotel is right on the waterfront. The bay in front of hotel is huge and very well protected from the winds, it's almost like a little lagoon, they rent SUPs, however when I was there the water was not the clearest in comparison to other places I swam in Croatia. I would recommend this for families with kids. The weather turned one night and I had dinner the beach restaurant, the food was good. It is a short 5-10 min drive to the old town. I paid 15 euros each way by taxi at anytime of the day or night, or 25 euros by taxi boat. It doesn't seem like much but it does add up after a couple days. It was a little short on shower gel with the mini toiletry bottles. My room's windows faced the path to the beach and restaurant which means it lacked privacy as people kept looking in when walking past.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in for ages. We came with our 3 children aged 21, 19 and 17. They loved it, we loved it. The rooms are great, the view is sensational. It’s so relaxed and easy going. Mimi’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner - all good. The staff, particularly Lisa, were delightful. The beach is small but peaceful with lovely sofa sunbeds. I stumbled across this hotel on the I-escape.com website - and couldn’t have been happy. Top marks. Thank you for a great week.

The price of the accommodation does not justify what was offered. Extra bed that you can't sleep on, cleanliness of the apartment questionable.

Tara’s Lodge is magical! From the location to the accommodations, it can’t be beat! The beach is perfect and the water will heal your soul! The staff is warm and welcoming and made you feel like you were are at home. The food is great and the music hits! We made a playlist to forever remind us of our time on Korcula Island and the magical experience we had at Tara’s Lodge. Can’t wait to visit again!

For those with a car, Tara’s lodge was the perfect place to stay on the island. A 5 minute drive away from the old town and a 10 minute drive to the Lumbarda wineries. The room was a little small but had a large balcony with views of the sea. Their restaurant is right on the beach for when you’re relaxing.

Perfect place for relaxation! Tara’s Lodge is a lovely modern boutique hotel with fabulous friendly and helpful staff, and spotless clean and modern rooms. We had a 2 bed suite - room 12, which definitely had the best view and position. We ate every day at mimis and the food was excellent. We’ll be back!

Tara’s Lodge can only be described as Paradise and more. When my wife and I arrived it appeared ordinary from the roadside but once we entered our apartment at the view over the beach, it was far from ordinary and took our breath away. We instantly knew we were in for 4 days of bliss.

Tucked away just five minutes outside the heart of Korčula, Hotel Tara Lodge was the ideal retreat for our family of four. The peaceful setting offered a welcome break from the crowds while still being conveniently close to town. Each morning began with a generous complimentary breakfast, setting a relaxed tone for the day.||We stayed in Room 42, located at the top of the complex. The room was spacious and comfortable, but the real highlight was the large balcony. Shaded in the afternoons, it provided a perfect perch to enjoy the view of sailboats gently bobbing in the harbor at Banja.||The water, a pleasant 73°F, was calm and inviting—ideal for swimming, paddling, or just floating. We rented a paddle board, which kept the kids happily occupied for hours as they explored the quiet bay. The lodge’s proximity to the beach made it easy to come and go throughout the day.||For families looking for a relaxed, scenic stay just outside of Korčula, Tara Lodge is a hidden gem.

Arrived by car from ferry, perfect little bay amongst lovely local croations. The sea view suite was perfect for us in terms of space (4 of us), could cook if you want to, beds were comfortable and a lovely view from your room out to the bay with a veranda with beds and chairs.|Staff were really helpful and smiley, breakfast included and was plentiful and tasty for a buffet choice. |There are plenty of umbrellas and most comfortable bean bag beds on the beach, my only criticism would be that the beach was cleaned very much. Again staff were so helpful and fun and made you feel very welcome. We hope to come back.

It was a lovely relaxed stay, with a really good room/view and beautiful beach and waters.|Special mention should be made to the staff, who were all excellent and good fun. I would like to pay extra praise for Tariq, Lisa (the most beautiful person and smile) and Milena.|A couple of minor tweaks, plastic hangers in the wardrobe, no robes in the room and hot chocolate for breakfast was an extra cost…a little bizarre, as you would expect this of a good quality hotel!?.|However, overall a great stay with the best views.

Site exceptionnel dans cette petite crique très calme en cette saison,avec la petite plage quasi privée et ses chaises longues-pouf très accueillantes.||Grand confort des chambres avec leur belles terrasses.Hôtel très calme||Mais….pour ce prix très élevé,certains détails ne sont pas á la hauteur: l`eau minérale n`est fournie qu`á l`arrivée,(!!!)la réception tout en haut ne nous incite pas à y aller en cas de besoin,la pente est assez raide et plutôt pour les sportifs,pas d`attentions spéciales en cas de séjour de quatre nuits,ni de salutations des responsables.Tout celá est assez impersonnel,et manque de chaleur…sans doute le concept des boutiques hotels.||Petit déjeuner devant la mer,dans un joli cadre,mais pourquoi cette musique trop présente,alors que le bruit de la mer est le vrai luxe!?||Dommage qu`après 14h30,nous n`ayons droit qu`á des olives et cacahuètes á 8E dans ce charmant bar de plage…

Simply perfect spot. From the lovely breakfast to the perfect room to the private beach we truly annoyed our stay here! Keep in mind it’s not near town so taxis(cash only) is your mode of transportation if you don’t rent a car. I highly suggest dinner at Eko Skoj and Konoba Maha.

Wonderful hotel with fresh new rooms. great beds and all you need to re-charge and relax. We really enjoyed our stay. Taxis to town were easy and affordable and staff was friendly. Ideal place for a stress free vacation, supermarket just 100 m away for those who need.

What a pleasant surprise we had staying at Tara’s lodge. It is a short taxi or water taxi ride from town, but the location is stunning, the hotel and restaurant sit just above the beach in a lovely cove. So relaxing and beautiful, especially after 9 days of traveling. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. And the staff was superb, very helpful in planning excursions and setting them up for us, they were the best we’ve experienced in Croatia.

Tara’s Lodge is a slice of heaven. Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk into town. The views are amazing and staff especially the front desk ladies are so kind and friendly. Breakfast delicious. Was the highlight of our Croatian holiday.

Tara’s Lodge in Korčula is a beautiful spot with stunning views and direct access to a peaceful pebble beach. Loved being steps away from Mimi’s Cafe—Tarik and Yerson provided excellent service. Paddle boarding on the crystal-clear water was a highlight. Rooms are small but comfy; if you can, request Room 23 for a better view than Room 21. A perfect, relaxing getaway! Srðan and Milana at the reception were so helpful and offered great tips.
