With my extended family (8 people) we stayed one night at Koca Ojstrica and had the most magical experience - surrounded by mountains, we could wish for a better place to stay. The cottage had all the comfort we needed - fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom, sauna and a stock of food that we could buy for an affordable price. The owner Rok was very welcoming and easy to communicate with and we had a very pleasant experience in general. He helped us with chair lift tickets and suggested us places to visit. Velika Planina is a great place to visit with family and friends and I would strongly recommend Koca Ojstrica for your stay. We only regret not staying longer !

Our family spent wonderful week in Koča Ojstrica in July 2019. The chalet is very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. There is even more than you need, e.g. sauna or floor heating :-) Rok was very careful host ready to help us whenever we needed. The offered breakfast can be only recommended. We loved eating the local food and drinking wine on the terrace while enjoying the mountains view. The Velika Planina is an amazing location, the herdsmen cottages and cows everywhere make the atmosphere unique. Certainly we will come back as it is the best place to escape from the hectic working life.

This cottage was absolutely amazing! Rok was a fantastic host and provided us with everything we would need along with a delicious breakfast! We would definitely recommend this to anyone (along with the night sledding!) looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful location. Thank you so much Rok!
