Une magnifique demeure dans un superbe coin de Slovenie. Personnel au petit soin, petit déjeuner délicieux, restaurant excellent. Une jolie vallée un peu perdue plein de charme.|L'ensemble à un certain charme ancien un peu vieillot mais de bonne facture.|Les chambres pourraient être un peu plus "moderne" mais elles sont toutefois très bien|

We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is stunning and really ideal for a quiet retreat. There are only 11 rooms it feels much more like you are a guest in a home rather than a hotel. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant cooks authentic locally sourced food to a very high standard. Many thanks to Gregor who allowed us to book a wine tasting session at short notice. Highly recommended!

Super petit hôtel situé à quelques kilomètres d'Idrija et dans un quartier calme.|L'accueil est chaleureux et tout le personnel est aux petits soins pour vous.|De nombreuses petites attentions vous sont réservées.|La propreté règne partout. Les chambres sont spacieuses et meublées avec du mobilier ancien qui convient bien à cette demeure du 14 ème siècle. |Le restaurant gastronomique nous propose des menus typiques Slovènes avec des produits frais provenant du potager des parents du Chef. Avec les menus, le passionné sommelier, vous propose d'excellents vins Slovènes pour accompagner vos plats. Le petit déjeuner est varié et copieux.|Nous recommandons cet hôtel, bien placé, pour visiter la partie Ouest de la Slovénie. (Lac de Bled, de Bohinj, grottes de Postojna, Ljubljana...)|Nous retournerons dans cet établissement sans hésiter.

I got married at Kenda Mansion 20 years ago and my husband and I came back this weekend for our 20th anniversary. It was perfect then, it is perfect now.|This hotel is absolutely superb. The interior immaculatelly kept with beautiful period furniture and classy details, a lovely terrace and garden that give the place a cosy, countryside, yet elegant feel. And the food is… out of this world. Using fresh ingredients from the surrounding farms, the food is local, home-made and a lot of it house-made, I believe. The dinner menu is meticulously thought of, showcasing typical local cuisine of the Idrija region. The delicious tastes and the presentation of the dishes are five-star cuisine and the epitome of Slovenian fine dining. Compliments to the chef for this culinary experience that is second to none, and to the entire staff and management for all the rest. Everyone is extremely welcoming, very kind and accomodating. Speaking several languages, the staff are food and wine savy, always ready to share some of their knowledge and experience with guests if they show interest.|If you are thinking of visiting Slovenia, “Kendov Dvorec” is a gem that is not to be missed. It is simply… a dream.

We only stayed one night but we wish we had planned a longer visit. The entire property is beautifully maintained and absolutely charming. We were warmly received and offered a welcome beverage. Because our stay was short we opted for the standard room. The bedroom and bathroom were of a reasonable size and complemented by a small foyer. Our room had a terrific view. The breakfast was beautifully presented and ample. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would love to return.

Bellissimo hotel curato nei minimi dettagli .||In camera trovi asciugacapelli , pulisci scarpe, set per doccia, Wi-Fi funzionante, acqua.||Colazione straordinaria con stoviglie scelte con cura e molto particolari.||Cena più che ottima.||I locali e stanze dell’albergo da visitare con cura per cogliere la cura e la bellezza di ogni dettaglio .
