Hotel Vital je že precej star, sobe z obrabljeno opremo in neugodnimi vzmetnicami, okna pri odpiranju ne delujejo dobro in vse kaže, da je vzdrževanje zadev, ki se pokvarijo, za njih drugotnega pomena. Je pa odlična zdravstveno-terapevtska dejavnost, saj so na področju rehabilitacijskih dejavnosti Dolenjske toplice ene izmed najboljših.

Hotel močno potreben prenove. Oprema izgleda kot iz 80tih let, leseno okno v sobi se ni dalo povsem zapreti, v kopalnici ni nobenega okna ali ventilacije in iz kanalizacije smrdi . Cene pa kot za graščino.

The rooms are in need of renovation, while the therapeutic part is satisfactory renovated. The meals are served in the neighbouring hotel Kristal - for the patients visiting through the state healthcare system they are tasteful, but not on par with some other similar spas (self-serving breakfast, lunch and dinner are served based on the choice from 3 main courses). The swimming pool(s) of the Vital are quite bad. They are only good for therapeutic purposes (with 35 °C they are not only to small for swimming, but the water is also too warm). A visit to two nicer pools in the fancier hotel Balnea has to be paid extra (per day/visit). There is a fitness, but it is only moderately equipped and could use some updating. There are some parking places for the visitors, but there might not be room for all vehicles and dinner parking places are a bit awkward to use (you need to ask for a remote controller at the reception when trying to get in). The staff is generally friendly and eager to help. The surrounding offers opportunities for some pleasant hikes or bicycle rides (but you might want to have some sense for navigation/orientation).

Sobe brez klime poleti ne prezivis v sobi,lokali cez cesto cez vikend groza,žabe v vodi koncert do 3 zjutraj in to naj bi bil pocitek?
